It more compact than the one I had, fits great in it's new location. I have had a few error codes E2, but I just unplug and wait for about 30 seconds and plug back in and runs great.

So this unit makes ice just fine however the unit is just a cooler and not a freezer like someone else mentioned.... therefore the ice begins to melt and there's a couple inches of water in the cooler area where the ice is stored. When you remove all the ice you're left with a couple inches of water where I guess you would have to drain it using the hose. I would highly recommend a ice maker with built in freezer storage so it keeps the ice cold and prevents it from melting over time. When this unit is done making ice you need to remove the ice immediately otherwise it will start to melt. This unit will not keep the ice in its storage unit at freezing temperatures like a freezer unit on your refrigerator does. The main issue with the water forming is that the only way I figured out to drain it is to keep the drain hose attached to the back and I drain it into a small bucket. I think some units like the small units that go on your counter recycle that water for ice cube's being made but I'm not sure if this unit recycles the water or not I couldn't find it anywhere online.

Extra ice for fishing and group get togethers. Plenty big enough and not huge. Compact enough to put almost anywhere.

This machine is being used in our church. I especially like the digital display panel and ability to adjust cube size and thickness.

We love having an ice maker in home, however the ice MUST be removed shortly after it is made since the holding area is merely a cooler, not a freezer.
