LifeGrip General Anti-Slip Tapes are made of PET material as base film. PET has the following beneficial features compared with PVC:

APPLICATION INSTRUCTION: (Quick and Easy)
1. CLEAN THE SURFACE
Clean surface with wet cloth thoroughly. Allow the surface to dry completely. Ensure the surface is completely free from dust and grease.
2. MEASURE AND CUT*
Cut the tape to the desired length and round the corners with scissors.(To ensure the anti slip tape has the best bonding to the surface, do not apply the anti-slip tape cross the gaps between tiles.)
* Pre-cut anti-slip treads can skip this step.
3. PEEL AND STICK
Lay the anti-slip strip to the desire location. Lift one end of the strip and peel back the first 2 inches of the backing. Press the tape down as you go. Continue until you have applied the entire strip to the surface. (For stairs, position the tape 1/2 inch from the edge of the stair.)
4. PRESS FIRMLY
Roll over the tape with the application roller. Begin in the center of the strip and roll to one end, then return to the center and roll to the other end.

I am beyond happy with this product. I followed the directions precisely and used the enclosed roller. It worked great! The grip steps are very good quality. Should stand up to time. I am amazed how good it turned out! I'm not sure if I'm so happy because I applied it right or if I'm so happy because I took a chance on this product and it exceeded my expectations.... It was really easy and not nearly as time consuming as I thought it would be. The painting and prep work was most of the job. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

I put this in a garage floor that has seen more then its fair share of oil and chemicals and it stuck no problem. Recommend.

I took a spill out my back door steps, went out with my socks on and when i hit the top step it was like I had stepped on ice; found myself laying flat on my back with a big bruise on my hind-side. Lucky I was not hurt worse. I ordered these and applied to each step. Easy application, incredible "stickiness" and nice rough finish to prevent future slip ups. I wish I had put these on sooner!

This 4" wide anti slip gripping tape worked wonderfully on my wood outdoor steps that led down from a deck. The steps were slippery when wet, and this tape made the stairs non slip as well as easy to see the stairs. It was easy to cut and it adhered very strongly to each stair! So far, after several weeks of use, not any part of the tape had come loose. There is plenty of extra tape for replacement on the stairs, if needed. The small roller enclosed helped to apply the tape smoothly.

These are a decent price and they work well once applied. They can be a bit of a chore to cut and then line up just right, but once that is done, the finished product is nice. Rolling the pieces down to ensure adhesion can be a bit taxing, but it just takes a little time. If you put the effort in, it is actually fairly simple. The only thing that I didn't like is that the options for depth are limited. I had one set of steps that consisted of two pieces each, so I needed 4 inch deep/length, so it worked out well for me. But I had another set of steps that were much deeper and I had to find another brand to get closer to the dimensions I was looking for. On the two piece steps, we just doubled the pieces up and it actually looks quite nice. The glow in the dark strips are a nice touch. Overall, I would recommend these.

I installed this traction tape on a narrow, dark, and tall staircase in an old home. Installation was quite easy, just cut to size, round the corners and stick in place with the roller. I'm surprised how well the green stripe works. This stairwell does't ever see much light, but at night the green stripes are clearly visible and a great safety feature. I don't even need to turn on the light at night when using the stairs now. Oh, and the traction part is great. The only downside now is that the traction part of the stair now attracts and retains random dust and dirt, it's quite hard to clean even with a good vacuum. But overall I really think this traction tape is a great deal and a potential life saver!

This worked great on my mobile home stairs, which you can see the green line at night since I am located in the woods
