Where can you use the ONTWIE Non Slip Tape?
Our Anti Slip Tape has the a thick and aggressive Acrylic adhesive and can stick to Smooth Surfaces, such as sealed concrete,painted wood,tile,glass, metal,stone and marble,polished stone, etc.
Note: Do not use on raw wood, brick, textured surface, uneven surface,bridging gaps.
Clean the surface
Clean surface with wet cloth thoroughly, make sure the surface you plan to apply the grip tape is compelely clean and dry, and ensure the surface is completely free from dust and grease.
Measure and cut
Cut the tape to the desired length
Tips: you can round the corners with scissors, which will help reduce peeling
Peel and paste
Peel release paper and place in desired location.
(When the temperature is low, please slowly heated with a hair dryer, and gum with good results)
Press firmly
To attain the optimum bond,sufficient pressure should be applied evenly to the surface, starting from the centre of the tape strip and work towards the ends. For a perfect adhesion, you can use a rubber roller(not included) to exhaust the air. (Dry for 24 hours on first use)

Used on my wooden steps and it is very sticky, lays flat, and had the expected grit to it. I used it to help prevent slipping on the stairs for people and pets. I think it’s been a great addition. Also helps with visibility of where the step ends.

Ontwie Anti Slip Tape 2inchI recently installed a new deck using a dark decking material. One part of the deck is a few inches lower than the rest of the deck. It was pretty obvious that I needed something to warn people if I didn’t want them tripping. The Ontwie floor caution tape looked like a good choice.It is easy to apply, sticks well to the decking and stands out very nicely. It’s a nice product.

I put this tape on an outdoor step made of stone, it lasted 4 months (no rain for 4 months). After 4 months I decided to put some fresh tape on the step, it then rained one week later and the tape came completely off. My conclusion: This tape is great in dry weather but does NOT work in wet conditions.

I purchased this tape to mark some steps in front of my business. I figured with the amount of traffic in addition to the weather, I would be replacing this tape on a regular basis. To my surprise it has survived the traffic of around 100 people walking over it, countless walkers/canes strolling on it and 6†of snow in the 2 weeks it has been installed. It isn’t chipped or peeling up anywhere. At this time I would purchase this product again.

Everyone seems to trip over this outside step. This attached to the concrete step and stairs going into our store. Perfect caution tape. Has a nice grit to prevent slippage too.

it served its purpose by calling attention to some steps, but once it snowed the adhesive started to let go and eventually the tape started to tear as well. good thing the roll is long that i can just reapply when the weather is warmer and dryer.

I built a wooden landing stair to assist my aging parents in stepping up into the kitchen from a sunken den area. Out of safety concerns, I felt it necessary to add this safety tape to the edge of the rise in order to improve traction and awareness of the potential tripping hazard. The stair is, effectively, rough plywood that has been painted with spray paint.I was concerned the tape may not adhere to the rough surface area but it did so with aplomb! It has remained dutifully attached with zero lifting despite daily use in a high foot traffic area.Would definitely buy again.
