I have a car that doesn't have any place to add a license plate unless you drill into the front bumper so this was a great solution. I used the zip ties to connect the plate to the grill. It was a pretty simple solution.

I really like this mount and I used it to mount my plate to the front of my Ranch Hand Bumper on my 2004 Ram 3500. I opted to use some stainless steel bolts and nuts to mount the frame to my bumper.The kit comes with screws you can use to mount if it you’re willing to drill into your vehicle. It comes with some zip ties but I highly recommend you do not use them!! The reason I gave this four stars was because I gave the zip ties a pull test straight out of the box and two of them snapped like twigs. If you’re going to use zip ties get some heavy duty ones that are UV resistant or even metal style ones, but I would not recommend trusting that your license plate and mount will stay on your vehicle with the included ones.Aside from that, the kit comes with useful items such as anti rattle pads, theft resistant screws and plastic pieces you can put under the plate screws with black caps that snap on top to conceal the screws.

I bought a used car online from a state with no front license plate requirement, so the car arrived with a filler panel where the front plate bracket should have been.The local dealership wanted to charge me an absurd amount of money for an OEM license plate bracket, so I decided to give this kit a try -- and it included everything that I needed for a smooth and clean license plate bracket installation!I particularly appreciated the use of Torx Security hardware -- along with a matching Allen wrench and driver bit -- to affix the license to the bracket, as I've had a license plate stolen in the past and it's a giant headache to resolve!This kit comes with lots of different mounting options and even includes some pre-cut self-adhesive foam pads so you can eliminate any vibrations or rattles.Highly recommended.

I've been looking for an OEM looking front plate holder. I cannot find one. I also wanted to utilize the OEM mounts that are in the lower grill area. The problem is they are spaced apart just enough to not work with my plate. I bought this plate holder because it was one of the few that has the horizontal slots with enough adjusment to make it work. I used some u-nuts to attach it to the OEM mounts and bam! It's works great! It also came with some foam stickers which I could use to prevent it from being in direct contact with the painted part of the bumper.

Purchased this for a 2008 E90 335xi, and would see this review as applicable to other 3-series from the same body style (E90, E92, E93) and model years (2007, 2008, 2009, 2020, 2011 - likely more).First - the product arrived bent. Didn't hold up well shipping in a bubble envelope. Not a huge deal, but annoying since once something that is as simple as this plate frame gets bent once, it is pretty much impossible to get it flat again. The astute reader would say, wait, this is advertised as a carbon fiber license plate frame, how did it arrive bent from shipping? Because THIS ISN'T A CARBON FIBER LICENSE PLATE COVER. I double checked the product label, and it is misleading. If you read the details in the listing it says: "Carbon Fiber style license plate frame, aluminum license frame protected with water and sunshine resistant Carbon Fiber film" further down, and one photo does say it is an aluminum frame. Still, I find this slightly deceptive advertising, but the truth is in there if you look closely (but, who really does with something like this??)Next, the kit is advertised to come with multiple sets of screws (at least in the pictures), but it doesn't. It only comes with 6, 2 for the mounting bracket and 4 for the license plate. The plate screws require a torx head, which they provide, but if you lose it or don't have another torx screwdriver, good luck getting the plate off down the road. I would have preferred a regular Philips head screw.Last is the fit. It was very very tight to get on the car. If I didn't have the patience and ability to fenagle the plate/bracket setup it wouldn't have been able to fit. It is nearly impossible to make work with a California issued license plate. Not sure that states would manufacture plates with different hole locations (seems a bit ridiculous) so why is this made with such a poor fit? I saw this mentioned in previous reviews, figured I could handle it and needed something the next day, otherwise it would have been a pass for me. Having installed it myself, I am a big pass on this and wouldn't recommend.Overall, one of these issues would have been ok. All three? Sorry, not acceptable. Other reviews have said you get what you pay for, in this case I think you actually get less. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

This bracket was perfect for my vehicles. It was extremely easy to install and all the screws fit.
