Replaced a heat pump with a larger unit, After an addition to the house the smaller tonnage unit struggled to keep up up, especially on the heat setting. I had a humidifier and an electronic air cleaner on my old unit that needed to be powered from line voltage only when the blower in the air handler was running. But the new one only had one set of contacts to connect to and would only be suitable for 24VAC or less at low amperage. Using this 24VAC relay I was able to turn a pair of standard 110VAC outlets into switched outlets to power the two devices only when needed. Worked perfectly.

This relay sounds beefy. It has a really solid sound when the coil is energized.I've not tested under a heavy load but the relay contacts do short when the coil has power.
