I am running a small solar power system with a 600 watt inverter connected to a battery. I found through trial and error that current is drawn from the battery even when the inverter is not in use. I am going to use this relay to break the connection between my battery and inverter when I'm not using it.I can't yet comment on the lifespan of this relay, but i did test it and it works perfectly. When supplying 12v vcc and ground then sending a high signal (12v) to the 'in' pin, the relay will activate. Changing the jumper from high to low and supply low voltage worked just fine as well. I included images of the relay powered on, and another of the relay powered with the relay activated.I did check to see if the relay would power on 5v and it will, but it will not trigger the relay at 5v. If you need a 5v relay do not opt for this one. Over all no complaints, it does what it is mean to do.

This product worked well for 4 months with my 17 amp water heater, but eventually the higher current burned up the solder joint between the relay and the circuit board so my water heater stopped. I have the tools and an electronics degree so I was able to solder the relay connection again. If you buy these and plan to run more than 10 amps of current, please add solder to all the high voltage connections before you put it in service. If you are not able to do that, you should purchase a different relay board.

3 of 5 relays worked. Luckily I know how to work on these so it didn't bother me

The mounting holes on the contact side are too close to the screw terminal to fit a screw head. Makes the product essentially useless.

Relay works great and contact screws are heavy to carry load. Connector for power/sesnse side don't hold wires very strong, planning on soldering wires instead of using connector for better contact. I would still recommend.
