I had a rattle coming from my original shift knob. This one fixed the issue. It is the same size as the OEM knob and looks virtually identical. The color difference in the gray section around the numbers is very close and the difference could be from the OEM unit being exposed to the sun. The texture is more grippy but the old one had 92K miles on it and could have been worn some. Overall a great replacement at a significant savings over the OEM one.To remove the old knob I put a strap wrench on it and turned it 1/8 maybe slightly more and it pulled right off. To install the new one I lined up the knob and pressed it down until it clicked.

Old one fell apart. Replaced with this one and looks identical. To get oldOne off pull up while wiggling really hard.
