So, not slate grey. It's black. But the handle installs where you really can't tell. The pegs that slip into the mounting bracket are too big. But, they can be filed or sanded to fit.

Installed on a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. The lever was a slightly darker color than the factory dash, however, it’s not really noticeable do to it’s location. I also found that the hinge tabs are too large in diameter to properly fit the factory bracket. Using a hand file, I was easily able to overcome this. Overall, with slight modification, it seems to work just fine!
