I used these particular holders for work, and have used higher priced ones frequently. While the company I worked for purchased those higher end models, I decided to purchase one for myself so that I didn't have to use their janky, easily broken tablet holders.While this one is made mostly of plastic, it is high impact plastic that is both sturdy and dynamic, in that the plastic parts function better than you would expect. I also like the neck of the unit is metal and helps support the weight of the iPad that we used.Installation is a breeze by loosening the collar, sticking it into the cup holder and tightening the collar again. The two bands on the upper and lower bracket make it easy to put in your tablet without complications. And the bracket holds the iPad firmly and snugly, as I used this on bumpy, dirt and gravel roads, with the unit never once loosening or the iPad falling out.Overall, this low price point gem is much better designed, built and durable than the higher price point models my company was using and made me walk away from this purchase feeling that I got the value of my expenditure and more. Highly recommend for people that need or use an iPad/Tablet in their car a lot!

I got this for my work trips and I am excited and pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this mount works! The instructions are very clear and effective, but the base and mount are very intuitive without.10/10!!

Initially, I found it somewhat flimsy. The cup holder in my car is positioned too far back for convenient use.

I love this phone mount. I use it with my Galaxy Fold Z6 opened. I have used many types of car phone holders over the years. I think this one may be my favorite. Some holders can be tight to open up to fit your phone with a tight spring-back when you remove your phone. Not with this holder. It opens and closes gently, but, holds my phone very securely. Just place it in your cup holder, then turn the knob to tighten it into place. The holder rotates so it doesn't get in the way of my 40 oz mug with a handle being used in the other cup holder. The cradle can be used in both the horizontal or vertical position. There is durable foam on the sides to protect your phone. I always keep my phones in pristine condition. This holder is gentle to my phone, but holds strong. Highly recommended.

So I put off installing this for a bit. I was not looking forward to it AT all as I'm not typically patient with these kinds of gadgets. I threw it in the car thinking I would deal with it at some point sitting out there in the cold after work one night perhaps. The next night I jumped into the car after work with tablet in hand and went Oops, there is stuff on my passenger seat and there is no room to lay it anywhere. I really wanted to listen to something I had started earlier on my long commute. So I picked up the APPS2Car iPad Cup Holder Mount and took it out of the box and it surprised me quite pleasantly! I stuck it in the holder, turned the tightener ring a couple of times and it was instantly secure. Then I screwed on the holder for the tablet/phone spring-loaded holder and wow, it was in place and secure. I popped in the tablet, then took it out, popped in the phone to try it, and everything fit and was amazingly simple. No fuss no muss. I never had a holder all of these years and I had no idea what I was missing out on. It is very convenient to finally have a secure resting place for my PDA's and SO easy to install. Keep in mind it uses up one of your cup holders which is not an issue for me. It doesn't have a long fancy extendo arm or any extra whistles bells or contraptions and that works just right for me. It is at just the right height and it has maneuvering flexibility that fits me just fine. It is robust, feels plenty heavy and not likely to break. I highly recommend this little item if you are in the market. And you don't have to be an engineer to quickly and easily install it!

I ordered this to hold my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE 11" tablet when traveling in our LTV RV (on a Ford Transit Chassis). It fits great! I really like that the insert has extendable arms on the base so it can adjust to fit any cupholder, and it does not shift! The Tab is a bit heavier than I expected, but this mount keeps it securely in place. I do have to take my cover off of it, though, as it ends up have a sloppy grip because of the spine otherwise. I am easily able to turn it from portrait to landscape orientation and back again with no issues. The neck is adjustable too, so I was able to move my tablet a further away from the window so it wouldn't vibrate against it while driving. This holder is exactly as good as I hoped it would be! Definitely recommend!
