This hose that I bought on Amazon does not fit! It looks exactly right. But I could not get it to thread into the steering gearbox. And I’m an experienced mechanic. So I found another one from another source, and it threaded in with no problems! I would like to return it, but I beat it up a little bit, trying to get it to fit. So I wonder if amazon will help me? 1998 Chevy k 1500 truck. 5.7 l engine.

Do not buy. Does not fit obs chevy gmt 400.99 Yukon Denali. Fitting that goes into gear box is too short. Therfore the U shape bottoms out on the gear box and Fitting doesn't reach the gear box. Tried to bend it but still cross threads. Do not buy!!! Do not buy!!!. If they would have made it a half inch too long it would still fit but too short doesn't allow it to screw into gear box. Same price at Oriellys parts store and in stock

Have 99 Cadillac escalade gm power steering pump and did not fit

Delivery came on time hose was constructed and looked good but the bins by the gearbox were way off and did not fit. Be sure to look at that compared to your old hose that you take off.
