This review is done after a week of use. I would not advertise this pump as quiet; it registered at 60 - 65 DB with everything installed. If you check the noise level without putting the nozzle on and connecting the tube to whatever aerator you're using, it will be very loud. Also, as another review here mentioned, the bottom needs to have some sort of muffler. I put a piece of sponge there, and it did make it quieter. The tubing that comes with it is very bad, I also did not like the plastic splitter that came with it. If you are buying this, it's just for the air pump itself I would not include the accessories as a value.

I purchased this pump for a 75g Indoor Tank - For those looking for a sufficient air pump for small or large indoor tanks and Grows, look no further. Super easy setup and pushes way more air then any of that crap at the local pet-co / smart stores. Very Quiet and very efficient and potential for multiple setups (hydroponic, aquarium , etc) Thanks.

So, the pump is reasonably quiet. Not quiet enough to use in the bedroom, if you happen to have an aquarium there, at least not for me.It has good power. I currently have two sponge filters and two air stones attached to it and barely turned the adjustable knob past on. I will attach one more of each once the next tank is ready and I don't think I will have to adjust it by much.The supplied manifold is working great.There is plenty of tubing in the box, however it is all twisted and kinked. I had to puzzle it a bit so that I can cut the worst pieces out.I have not found a good solution yet to keep the tubing on the provided check valves. It keeps wanting to come off.Let's see how everything preforms in the coming weeks. I am only on day two.

Maybe mine was defective or maybe my meter reads a little high, but no way can this be described as 'quiet'. 70db on high, 63db on low. At ~65db, it is at least 100 times louder than it should be. And it's my understanding that 'quiet' or 'silent' means under 40db.

it has a short power cord. its loud when crank to max output. im using it for 5 aquarium with 9 double sponge filter. not max output because its too loud but enough just to not work.

Got this to make feeding tea for cannabis plants , it pushes air very well inside a 30 gallon trash bin . Not to loud either, it has what I would call a low hum. It has no case / enclosure , so if you encased the motor it would be even better. Good quality build ,hefty in weight . Comes with plenty of tubing , the air stones are a bit smaller than I though, but they move a lot of air between them . I would recommend this air pump

I purchased this for my small pond and I’m really impressed with its performance so far. It puts out a lot of air and is very quiet. The cost is very reasonable for what it can do.
