To me one of the first indicators that a product will be great, is the packaging. If the manufacturer cares enough about the item, they will try to place it in packaging that is secure and informative. This checks all the boxes.The pump itself is well made and easy to use. What I found is that the charge last for days on the intermittent setting before needing to be plugged back in. The temperature is accurate and the screen easy to read.I am using this pump to aerate a 20 gallon daphnia tank. There is no electrical outlet outside, so I needed to go rechargeable. Fits my needs and is really better than I hoped for. Just purchased a second as a backup.

I got this SEAOURA portable aquarium air pump to use with my home setup. Overall, I am very pleased with its ease of use and features.Includes: The air pump kit includes the air pump (with built-in temperature probe), a wall adapter, a USB-C to USB-A cable, an instructions manual, air stones, two sets of tubing, two check valves, a suction cup for the temperature probe, a tank clip, and a screw for mounting the clip. I was pleased with how generous they were with the length of tubing, as I was able to set up my 10 gallon tank with just one length of tubing.Usage: The air pump was fairly easy to use even without reading the instructions manual. The pump has a black and white LCD display that has a backlight that turns on when being modified but dims the rest of the time, saving power. The display shows the pump strength, the mode (continuous or intermittent), the temperature reading, and the temperature settings (high and low for alarms).Power: The air pump is charged by a USB-C cable which is convenient for swapping out the cable with a shorter or longer one depending on my setup. The pump can be operated while it is being charged.Clip: The clip is fairly minimal and effective. I found the design of the clip somewhat confusing as it is an odd shape, but it works fine with my tank.Temperature: The pump has a built-in temperature probe that cannot be removed. It has a fairly long cable that I coiled up since my tank is not that big. I tested the accuracy and found it to be accurate to within a few degrees Farenheit. The temperature alarms do work but are fairly quiet. It is overall a nice feature to include in with the air pump so that I don't need to add another gadget separately to my tank.Effectiveness: The pump is fairly powerful and is able to create a full, effective stream of bubbles. The two air stones I received both work well but are slightly different in buble consistency. The pump overall is very quiet and I hardly hear it.

I'm quite impressed with this battery powered pump. I own a number of those old style battery powered air pumps that take D batteries, and they work just fine after many many years of owning. However, this air pump just feels way more advanced, at a very competitive price. I like the dual air outputs so that I can spread out the airstones, and how the airflow is controllable (5 different strength levels and an intermittent mode to save battery). To top it off, it has a built-in temperature probe (which matches the temp reported by my Apex aquarium controller) and a nice back-lit screen to see the temp and settings. I will be using this as a backup during power outages, and to agitate the water while drip acclimating new corals with coral dip. The only downside to this pump is that the clip is too narrow for the majority of my tanks... but that's easily overshadowed by its features, and the included accessories (2 airstones, 2 check valves, generous length of tubing, USB cable, and an AC adapter). Strangely, the included AC adapter I got has 3 USB-A ports on it when you only need one for the pump... I guess they're encouraging me to charge other things with it too at the same time. Would give 10 stars if I could!

I hobby shellfish in the summer and want to keep my catch as happy as possible while purging sand and waiting to become dinner. I purchased this pump because of the rechargeable battery and the fact I can put it in the fridge with my clam bucket without running a cord into the fridge. The pump is very quiet when operating, and the unit has rubber feet to prevent transmitting noise to other surfaces. The plastic casing and bucket clip are good quality as are the air hoses and stones included with the pump. Additional features like the temperature alarm are nice to have, but not imperative for my uses. The 10 second on/off interval setting will keep the battery going longer. The only odd thing is that the unit wouldn’t charge off the USB-C for my iPad or MacBook, it wouldn’t respond until I plugged it in with the supplied charger. The power draw states 2 watts, so there should be plenty of power in those other cords. I don’t like the idea of having to keep track of a separate power cord for this particular unit, but since it works with the supplied cord the unit is still five stars.
