This is a really quiet pump. I would say it is silent. Powerful yet enough for any size bubbler or ring. I got a little flow regulator so the bubbler is gentle enough for my betta tank. The bettas love it. Downside: the pump is not very durable. Just a few weeks since i got it and it's already breaking down.

I first bought an air pump from this seller a year ago, and it worked nearly perfectly for that year. When it died, I looked up my old orders and saw that they had changed the product, but bought it anyways since why not? A simple pump for a simple aquarium.Well...I bought the air pump replacement less than a month ago. I followed the instructions and installed the extra valve as recommended. The air pump worked perfectly for one week, started sputtering on week two, and by week three, it's working for only a few minutes at a time before it shuts off entirely. Now I am once again without an air pump.Cheap, and cheaply made. Very disappointed.

To sum up the review, I don't even hear it and it's powerful enough for much larger tanks than it says. A very good product, just not for the size of tank it recommends and if you use the check valve, use electrical tape to help keep the hose on it.The strong air flow makes it better fit for 10 or maybe even 20+ gallon, and I'll be replacing the one for my 30 gallon with this because it's much quieter. Unfortunately with how strong the air flow on this is, even on the lowest setting, it's too much for a 5 gallon. I want to eventually put a few african dwarf frogs in the 5 gallon, but the strong airflow makes too much movement in the water for that. So it's moving to the 30 gallon and I'm very sure it'll provide plenty of airflow for that size, maybe even better than the tetra one I have in there currently. The only main issue is that the hose has a hard time holding on to the check valve. I think over time this won't be a problem but for now the hose falls off every few days or so. Some electrical tape would most likely be a good fix for this, but I don't have any.

Only have it for a short time but it’s as advertised. Great air and very quiet. Time will tell as for how long it stays that way.

I really loved this product. It was the perfect size and convenience for my set up. The lowest setting was more than enough for my tank.Unfortunately, the motor went out in under a year. It was great for about 6 months. Then started shutting off randomly. It has finally started making a screaming noise in the motor and does not produce bubbles any longer.

This tiny air pump puts out a good amount of bubbles. I needed a usb connector for when Texas power goes out again. ( it will) and wanted to try one out. This is a tiny bullet if a product.It is a bit hard to figure out how to place it on the table bc it vibrates and it sits on its side, but I found a padded lid to place it in so it won’t roll/vibrate off the table or into the side of the tank.Easy to set up and use.Adjustable speed lever/wheel on the unit.Good buy.

I picked one of these up because it uses usb ( so can power it easily with an power bank if we have a blackout) and because it has a speed controller. It is very very quiet and quite powerful. It’s not very sexy looking but does a great job
