This air pump seems to be of overall good quality. It feels fairly heavy which I believe means it probably has some quality parts on the inside.It comes complete with two airlines, two air stones, two check valves, two Y connectors and two suction cups to attach the air line to the tank. Everything I needed to set it up and put it to use.It has an adjustment knob on the top that turns the air completely off and can be adjusted infinitely so there is no need for an external valve. I found it to adjust easily from a low flow to its full flow.The reason I gave this air pump four stars is that the air stones are quite coarse and produce rather large bubbles. The air pump is very quiet at lower air volume settings but to me is too loud when turned to it's maximum setting. Fortunately it puts out enough air that I use it set rather low so I can barely hear it running even when standing next to it.It has two air outlets but you will have to plug one of them if you only want to run one air stone because there is not a provision to turn one side off.

We have this in 20 gallon aquarium, and didn't know what setting it was on when we first turned it on. The tank was like a tornado! Had to turn it waaaay down, and now it works perfectly fine. You can basically have as many bubbles as you want, or as little as you want with this pump. Love that we can use it for 2 air stones or a light bubbler at the same time. Wanting more for other tanks, as it really is quiet, and yet, also very strong.

This works well in my 9 gallon planted shrimp tank, helping to run my sponge filter. It's small and quiet and I like the dual outlet for if/when I have another tank or if I include another filter in my main. The adjustable flow knob works well. As some others have mentioned, it gets a bit loud on full blast, but that won't be necessary for my setup so nothing to worry about there.

I got this 4W air pump with the idea of replacing my 3W and 1W pumps as they were taking up too much space. It was able to fit the bill and handle both jobs effectively with the dual head. It is also just as quiet as the two I had previously. I can barely hear it.
