I use this pump for my garden to make compost tea. So much better than a smaller fish tank pump. It’s a does make more noise then a smaller pump but it puts out a lot more air.

Heavy duty outdoor air pump for my fish tanks. It is a little loud for inside your home, so place it in a cabinet somewhere. Very Durable and high quality.

I just opened the box and plugged it in. It's loud, and mine did not come with the small section of tube that goes between the pump and manifold. I can probably find something around the garage that will work, but if it shows it's included, it should be included. Mine was not included. Because of the noise and missing part, I'm taking a star off the rating. If it dies soon, I'll revisit my review and update accordingly. I'm going to be using this for a hydroponics setup.

This was purchased for a 220 gal fish tank to run a deep water airline across the back of tank...first..way too strong..however you can adjust the valves if using all 6..but if using just 2..it's a waste..the worst part..it was advertised for quiet but was so loud and vibrated so strong I thought my head was going to pop off..useless to me..now hv a really big..heavy..loud air pump and nothing to use it on..waste of money

It is noisy if not greased. I have a youtube video on how to grease it. It has 6 outputs but probably can only delivery 4 bubblers at most. Good enough for what I need. The output bar is plastic rather than metal which is fine for metal one is heavy but more sturdy.
