Note: No USB power adapter included, the tank need power of DC 5V/ 2A. Make sure the adapter you use is powerful enough. Insufficient power of the adapter may cause the light or the pump not working. If the pump stops working or the water flow decreases, it is time when you need to take the pump out and clean it. And the pump need to be FULLY SUBMERGED UNDER WATER to work.

This small 1.2 gallon acrylic aquarium is well-thought out build and a decent size for a single Betta, a couple shrimp, snails, or a small goldfish.

The filtering system keeps water stay clean longer than a normal fish bowl without a filter and provides a clean and healthy environment for fish to thrive in.

If the current is a bit strong for your lovely critters, you can put a pre-filter sponge filter on the intake to reduce the water flow.

The both sockets behind are DC5V and they can be used as input or output.

The red button is the lighting switch. In order to ensure the clarity of water and avoid the algae breeding, it is suggested to control the lighting time reasonably.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

1. Please rinse the filter sponge regularly based on the bio load or feeding frequency.

2. It is recommended to replace the filter sponge once every six months to achieve better filtration.

3. If the pump stops working or the water flow decreases, it is time when you need to take the pump out and clean it.

4. The lid is forbidden to be rinsed in water as it has built - in circuit board.

5. Make sure the water pump is totally submerged under water, or it will make noise or burn out due to running dry.

So the tank itself it great for something small however the quality is not there. My fish health have almost died already because the filter stopped working. It is bright enough and the noise level is low. Not worth spending this much on it
