They are smaller but it works for my hands. They are comfortable. I’ve been using 3x/ week for a couple of months and their holding up.

I took these hand paddles to the pool for the first time yesterday, and they work very well. I have trouble with my legs and cannot kick effectively whilst swimming, and these paddles allow me to really shoot through the water. This makes for a great upper-body workout, and it is totally fun to boot! The paddles are made of a tightly woven nylon-like material, and they feel like there is a thin layer of neoprene sandwiched in there. Because they are more like a glove than a "shell" with straps, there are no "hot spots" or areas that chafe. The build quality is first rate, and their flexibility, as compared to the rigid "shell" types, makes them comfortable to wear, and easier on the forward stroke: you just close your hands, and they exert little drag; on the power stroke you stretch your hands out and zoom ahead. I highly recommend these hand paddles for anyone who needs a little help in the water, or anybody who just wants to enjoy greater speed.

I ordered these in November 2019 and have been using them about 1 hour per day, 6 times per week. About mid-January, the velcro closures started to lose their "grippy" quality, mostly from the over-sized hooks of the hook pad opening up and stretching out so they no longer gripped the loops on the loop pad. Easy enough fix but I figured these would last longer than 2 months. Other than that, they fit well, are well-made (edges are encased in a neoprene trim), and they are holding up to the rigors of an everyday swim. These are about as thick as craft felt that you would get from a craft store. They are very stretchy and are a snug fit for me. For reference my hand measures 7.5" from the base of the palm to the tip of my longest finger and is 9" in circumference just below the base of my four fingers across the palm. One thing to note about the hook-and-loop (Velcro) closures: I removed them and replaced them with some 23" x 7/8" hook-and-loop cable ties that I trimmed. The new straps ended up being about 11.5" long and wrap completely around my wrist with a 3.5" overlap. Haven’t had a problem with them since. I would recommend this product.

The gloves are really thick & it’s hard to grip the weights with the gloves on. It’s too much trouble to take the gloves off & on as we use the weights sometimes, other times don’t use the weights. I would recommend getting the thinner, more flexible gloves.

I have done water aerobics(WA), for 8 years and now 80 yrs old. The new gym uses heavy weights for at least 20-30 minutes in the water. After about 5 min, with hands, arm and shoulders getting tired, I could no longer do the full exercise as my arms were holding me at a slower pace and not getting the full aerobic benefit. A former instructor advised me to get these. What a difference! I get a good “drag†thru the water and can extend, use arms fully! As my instructor said, it’s the not the weight, but the drag in the water that’s beneficial. I highly recommend!

The size chart was great to use so the gloves would fit my hand properly. I work out in the pool twice a week and I noticed more resistance when working on bi-ceps and tri-ceps. would recommend to those who do strength training in the pool.

Gekauft um 10,- und meiner Meinung nach sehr gut weil es durchgehend starkes Neopren ist (also auch zwischen den Fingern wo ich andere Schwimmhandschuhe schon mit dünnerem Material ausprobiert hatte) und dadurch wird die "Schaufel-Wirkung" auch tatsächlich mehr erhöht, dh. man hat wirklich höheren Schwimmwiderstand und dadurch aber auch höheren Trainingseffekt für Arm-, Oberkörper- und Rückenmuskulatur und natürlich kann man damit auch ein wenig schneller schwimmen (wenn man will) als bei anderen Schwimmhandschuhen mit dünnerer Schwimmhaut.Größe: Ich persönlich habe Handschuhgröße 9 und habe mich hier für Größe M entschieden und ich denke das passt auch so (leider noch keine Langzeiterfahrung, aber um Euro 10,- find ich sie echt gut, vor allem als ein Kollege vor kurzem im Bad meinte er hätte seine um 30,- gekauft ..) Bei Handschuhgröße 9 ist M beim ersten Mal überziehen schon ein wenig knapp, denke sie werden noch ein wenig weiter werden - bei Handschuhgröße 10 würde ich aber schon L empfehlen bzw. bei Handschuhgröße 8 passt M sicher ideal ...

I swim 5 times a week, between 2 to 3 km per session, so these gloves get a decent workout. I purchased these gloves 4 months ago and they are as good as the day I took them out of the package. The stitching is strong, the velcro still works perfectly, and no fading. There is zero sign of ware or stretching. They have always fitted snuggly. I take a medium in everything I buy. I bought a medium in these and got what I expected based on what I'd read in other reviews. In other brands I've tried (Speedo particularly) the medium fits quiet big and becomes sloppy in the water. I have another pair of Tagvo Aquatic Gloves in the drawer but I don't expect to have to break them out of the package for a long time. I've recommended them to several people at the pool. I will definitely be a returning customer :)

premier essai aujourd'hui, je sens bien une résistance augmentée (nage brasse), la sensation est un peu bizarre mais on s'y fait. pas de frottement mais on sent quand même l'eau circuler dans le gant, qui est pourtant assez serré. globalement je recommande, vu le prix c'est intéressant.
