Had no problem installing these on my camper tops rear window, fit well and operates as expected. Not as heavily built as original ( 1986 ) but what is nowdays .

It was a direct swap, so easy and a perfect fit. All you do is use a small flat head screwdriver to lift the retaining rings, pop the old one off top and bottom, pop the new one on, rinse and repeat on the other side. Bam done. As long as you get the right size you're golden.

I purchased Arana 30 lb gas struts for my Snug Top camper shell rear window. They worked well for 14 months, and then one strut developed an oil leak. I contacted the seller, Arana Auto Dept, explained that one strut has developed an oil leak and is not functioning. They sent me a new pair of the same struts that I purchased earlier and they work well with the Snug Top shell. The struts work well, are easily installed with a small screwdriver and the customer service for the company was great. These struts are 20% of the cost of OEM struts, and they work well. I will purchase them again in the future.

I've got a small rolling tool box that has a hinged lid that is kept in open position by these gas shocks. I attempted to order these shocks. from the original seller. No luck.went into search mode, found the exact gas shocks needed, even though the original supplier told me, "NO LONGER AVAILABLE." The product was an exact match to my originals. Shipping was quick and price was better than I expected.

Maximum 5 minutes to remove the old and replace with new. Oem number is perfect match. Works as they should.
