This was for a 2017 Sonata as Hyundai does not sell replacements any more. Easy to install and good strong no hands up-force to raise the hood.Now to see how long they last. Four stars for now.

Hood struts fit perfectly, easy to replace, and the struts are strong.I unsuccessfully tried to retract the strut by hand once I released it from the the nylon straps it came in. Even so, I was able to replace the struts. Now the hood lifts and closes smoothly and with ease.
