This would only work on very old mortar where the mortars vary soft on later mortar even 20 years old it's too Bumpy it throws you off the work it's not a good investment it shouldn't be a $1000 it's more worth like 200 and I here I Am now months later and I Still haven't got my Money back from Amazon I returned it right away

These tools are great as long as the mortar is needed replacing. It cuts brick out with minimal dust.
