Built with the finest electrical components, ProT5 ensures safe operation and long lamp life with protections against over-voltage, over-current, overheating, and short circuits. It is also Teflon-free and lacks any UV-absorbing reflector coatings. The ProT5 is easy to set up and can be mounted inside a vivarium, on top of a wire-mesh terrarium, or hung above or within an enclosure. Its sleek design and curved reflector maximize light projection while minimizing space usage. The included link cable allows up to 10 units to be connected from a single power source, including the Jungle Dawn LED BAR kit. I’ve had this uvb light for my bearded dragon for a while now and it is great! It last long and stays bright! Definitely exactly what I needed it for!🔥

On the same bulb purchased in January, still going strong! There is an annoying buzzing noise when placed a certain way, so I have to maneuver it around to get it to stop. Otherwise though, great bulb and setup. My dragon is happy and healthy.

Bought this specifically for my chameleon but I use arcadia lights for all of my reptiles. The bulbs are highly rated and last a long time.

I bought two of these lights because everyone says how amazing they are for bearded dragons and neither of them turn on. Tried 10 outlets and not once did it flicker. Will never be buying this product again

It is pricey😅 BUT totally worth it. My dragons are getting the UVBs that they need to keep them happy and healthy.👍🦎🦎 everything came intact. Bulb was NOT broken, light fixture worked and was measured for UVB strength everything is perfect.

My vet recommended this bulb- he is brilliant and keeps up-to-date on all of the evidence-based data. Most of the regular lights by "reptile" brands are junk from China (no testing, no standards). (I'm Asian and not at all biased racially, just stating facts!) This bulb is not cheap; however, it's the most effective one I've seen . Within 24 hours, my bearded dragon was perking up, basking at a lower height than before (indicating greater UVB); and the research I've done on this bulb shows that it performs the best. Replace about every 8-9 months. (Few months longer than the other repti-bulbs which need replacing about every 6- but again, are junk...most UVB testers can go right up to touching the bulb and show no UVB, so you get what you pay for in this instance!)

I had a different model that made noise, and made my beardie go crazy. I bought this one, and installed it. Now he is calm, and very healthy. Sure, the bulb that came with it went out fast, but that was easily replaceable. As a matter of fact, this was the most highly recommended fixture recommended by reptile experts for bearded dragons. I am glad I listened to them.

I still really like the fixture and bulb, but with it being expensive I thought the fixture would be made of more metal and less plastic. It also fits kind of weird on a screen enclosure, I end up having to put it sideways, but that likely provides better UVB coverage so it's fine, just caught me off guardAlso, the bulb is really difficult to install even after watching a YouTube tutorial from the company. Definitely has a learning curve
