Reptiles are ectothermic and depend on their environmental temperature to regulate their core body temperature. If a reptile is not provided an appropriate environmental temperature range (ETR), it may be predisposed to chronic infections. Because ETRs vary from species to species, ask your pet professional or review available literature for guidance in determining the appropriate ETR for your pet.

This bulb was dellivered on March 16th, 2024 and died today, March 30th, 2024. It was on from 6:30 am to 8 pm daily and off overnight, it was not dropped, bumped or even looked at wrong and it burnt out today. Not even 14 full days of use. I just put the next one in that was delivered on March 20th, we'll see how long it lasts with same usage.

I have bought these many many times and will continue to. My turtle and lizard both use them in there aquariums and I have found these to be the most affordable and longest lasting bulbs.

Overview-There isn’t anything special about this basking bulb, but it is cheap. I have bearded dragons, crested geckos, leopard geckos and uromastyx, and much more animals. This bulb gets the job done very well.Pros-CheapHigh qualityFits wellThe temperature gets where it needs to be, heats quicklyHas a Good appearanceSlides right in, easy installationCons-NoneNote-When installing wear a glove, your natural oils greatly reduce the amount of time this bulb can burn for, if contact was made, use a microfiber cloth to remove it, no harsh chemicals

I say sort of because I purchased 2. The first one it unfortunately burnt out quick. But the 2nd? It lasted 11 months!! It rarely ever got a break. I have never had a basking bulb last that long and I'll probably be lucky to find another one to do that. Temps are perfect for my red eared slider. For the 14 bucks I had invested in the 2 I cant complain. I've bought $15-$20 bulbs that haven't lasted even half as long.

This 60 watt bulb provides light without the brightness of a 100 watt. Much better as my leo is not a fan of light.

I decided to give Fluker’s basking bulbs a try because they seemed more affordable than other brands I’ve used in the past. Unfortunately, I was incredibly disappointed. The bulb only lasted one day, even though it was the correct wattage for my lamp.I have never experienced this issue with other brands, and I expected much better quality, even for the price. This was a huge letdown, and I’m hesitant to try this brand again. Save yourself the frustration and invest in a more reliable option.

I actually use these for chicks/ducks and not reptiles. They do put out heat and are inexpensive compared to brooding bulbs. They don't last more than a couple months though, par for the course vs incadescents.

Fixture and lamp all-in-one. I had everything I needed to house the heating lamp on top of my reptile habitat. Item delivered on-time (actually earlier). Quality of the item is great. Thank you.

El paquete y su contenido llegaron bien, el foco lleva poco de uso, veremos a largo plazo que tal, por lo pronto todo bien y vale la pena por el costo.Actualización: Duró 4 meses casi exactos.

Not a whole lot of UV but that's not what this is for I guess. Bright and can heat up a big enclosure!!
