My boyfriend got this and the quiver from them and he said he absolutely loves the sling! He was looking for something to go to the ren faire with as they don’t allow bows to be strung. This works really well and is made of real leather! It will in fact work for longbows and traditional recurve bows without any problems.

This strap isn't usable with any adult-sized recurve bow. I have a short horsebow and even in this case it is far too short to fit it correctly. If this is only intended to be used for children's bows or compound bows, the listing should say so.

I'm seeing other reviews saying the strep doesn't fit their bow, but it fits my horsebow with plenty of room to loosen or tighten the strap. Exactly as pictured in the listing. The color is as I expected and there was even a handwritten card with the batch number, name of the maker/material origin.
