I really like this mailbox. It’s the nicest looking mailbox on my block. I like that it was easy to install, the design of the mailbox with the lock, and the pewter color. I can’t testify as to whether the lock mechanism is full proof but I’m sure if a criminal really wanted to get my mail s/he would be able to. At least it’s a little deterrent. My only 2 issues are that my 12 yo daughter can reach through the slot and grab the mail because her arm is skinny enough so it’s definitely not totally secure and another little qualm of mine is that when I water my lawn and the water gets on the mailbox there are water spots on it after. It really shows because of the dark pewter color but I still like how the mailbox looks.UPDATE: The clips that hold outgoing mail will hold regular size envelopes but if you want to mail out a 5x7 Christmas card the card will stick out of the mailbox and the door will collapse and open fully since the magnet that closes the door is blocked. This became a pain during the holidays because I didn’t want to leave my mail fully exposed in case they got damaged from rain or someone took them. I wish there was some way you could adjust the clips to make them lower.

way bigger than I thought, it should fix smaller boxes just fine. I love the design.

The mailbox was delivered well packed and without any dents.We ordered this due to increasing mail theft in our are.It also increases the curb appeal.We added a mailbox topper and the street number to the side.The mailbox is completely flat on the top, so rainwater accumulates without running off, that’s the reason for one star reduction.It should still hold up a good while in all kinds of weather.

Simply a cheap quality mailbox, riveted construction, poor alignment of base with riveted side construction. Not worth $99 bucks... works, just not worth the cost.
