I was tempted to buy a high end mailbox, but didn't want to invest in something that could end up being mediocre. This is a classy and simple mailbox. Large interior. Little tough to screw into the wall and keep level, but otherwise it looks great

Love this mailbox!! This mailbox is so unique and stylish. All other mailboxes seem so basic. This one is well made and deep, holds lots of mail and small packages as well.

This is a nice looking mailbox, but not high quality. I would expect this mailbox to be more around $30-40. Clear evidence of the low quality is in the hanging holes. It has one hole rather than a combined hole of one smaller whole merged into a larger hole like most mailboxes have. See photo of my old mailbox and this mailbox. Most mailboxes are set up for you to drive the screws into the wall then hang the mailbox on the screws. For this one, you have to hold the mailbox up and stick your hand inside with a very short screwdriver to screw it onto the wall. It can be done, but it's annoying, and not the way it should be. I do like the large size of the mailbox and the fact that the lid will not stay up on its own. My mailman would often leave the lid open on my old box. It also does not have an extra locking lid. If you want security, this is not the mailbox for you. I did not want the extra lid to make an extra step in getting my mail out of the box. In short, this mailbox would be perfect if the price matched the quality and the hanging holes were right.

I think this is a very nice looking mail box. The only issue I have with it is the tiny tiny drain holes are at the back of the mailbox (closest to the building). When you hang it, the mailbox tilts forward slightly - this means the water runs toward the front of the mailbox where there are no drain holes. I have come home to soaking wet mail more than once. My plan is to drill larger holes closer to the front of the mailbox in hopes of successfully draining the water.

If it is exposed to the elements in any way when it rains all your mail ends up soaking wet. Ok if you live in a desert I suppose.
