Great for picking up trash. The end rotates making it easy to adjust and grab what you are trying to pick up. Understanding its a squeeze handle the angle might be a little awkward for some people but still a nice affordable option. I have a few elderly family members that have these and they love them.

I'm in a wheelchair. These work great for picking up small, light weight things like paper, coins, kitchen towel, socks and such. I have them all over the house in designated spots so I don't have to wheel from one end of the house to the other just to grab "the grabber".

ive been on amazon probably 5 times to buy these darn thing from a multitude of retailers and this on has got to be the worst! some of them were molded poorly and wouldn't grab or release or some of the others that had cordage or something inside them snapped and wouldn't grab any more. I think out of that whole pack i got 1 maybe 2 and that's being generous

Our church bought these so we could go out and pick up trash in our neighborhood. They have done the job so far and seem sufficiently durable.

My husband and I enjoy taking walks. It was during one of our walks to the local outdoor shopping center when we were amazed at all the trash that had just been thrown all over the greenway and concrete. We usually just bend over and pick up any random trash we see and dispose of it properly. Problem was that a lot of the trash was old food - sticky and disgusting. With the amount of trash on the ground and the fact that we would have to bend down many times to get it all we just continued on leaving the mess where it was and continue on with our walk. We wondered how much it would be to purchase something to pick up trash with - something lightweight yet sturdy enough to pick up some items that might be a bit heavier than your average paper trash. I did a quick Amazon search and ordered these. They arrived quickly, and our granddaughters were excited to go for a walk with us so they could use their new “toys.†I was a bit concerned because they are very lightweight and wasn’t sure either that they would be able to pick up small items. No problem at all. We had a great time picking up even coins off the ground. Our oldest granddaughter got the hang of using the squeeze lever in no time and was off beautifying our neighborhood. Our youngest who was 3 could not press the lever without using both hands and was just not yet coordinated enough to getbthe hang of it. I found the lever easy enough to use - you don’t have to have to much strength to squeeze it. My only disappointment was in the length of the stick. I am 5’7 and it required me to still do a little bending in order to pick some items up off the ground. Happy with my purchase!
