The swim jammer is a bit tight but that's as expected. Do note that the legs can be extra tight for those who have thick thighs. The material is bit on the thin side but it dries quickly. After several runs, it's feeling more comfortable and I enjoy swimming laps with them on.

I've been searching for something like this for a long time. Basically I wanted something like poly/spandex boxer briefs for swimming but thicker (for modesty) and without the urination flap (also for modesty). I'm not much of a sporty person and even less so when it comes to swimming related sports, so I didn't even know "swim jammers" even existed until fairly recently. This is exactly what I was hoping for though. Even better is that they're only thicker around the crotch, so they maintain modesty but also dry quicker. That was the main reason I wanted something like these: so that after getting out of a pool there wasn't 3 pounds worth of soggy swim shorts that took forever to dry out. These are great for that.For fit, I wear a 38~40 in jeans and chose the 38 for these because I didn't want to risk them being too baggy around the waste. 38 does work, but since these have the waste drawstring, and since they were I think tighter than they needed to be for me, I think 40 would have been totally fine, if not preferable.The only negatives for these and like other reviews have mentioned is that the bottom of them around the legs is quite a bit tighter than they need to be and what would be comfortable. Not a huge deal for me though.If you're looking at these and reading reviews I'd say go for it.

These are clearly a high quality product. They fit very snug but that's probably what you want for good swim wear. I am an okay swimmer so I can't really say I can tell the difference but I do like the feel.These are tight and I have large thighs so it takes a bit of effort to put them one. Once they are on, then they are perfect. The sizing seemed right as long as you are expecting a snug, close-to-body fit.

My son is a competitive swimmer and is picky about his swimwear. Finding a product that feels comfortable and is excellent quality is difficult. Hrs growing and changing, and every year we try dozens of brands before finding “the†pair. This year, these were the first te tried and he loved them! I’m so relieved!!!! They’re are very well made, have fantastic material, great compression, the panel pattern is very nice, and they fit him perfectly…..except….we had to size up. He’s a medium-large athletic build, 160lbs and 6’ and normally wears a 34 but they were too small.

I got these for my husband who is American and usually just wears the loose short. These are much better for real swimming though. At first he was not interested because he feels "exposed" with swim wear like this. I had him try these on and I have to say that Arena did a fantastic job in the front. The front has somewhat of a V shape which has a double layer on the inside, and it does a great job of concealing "the goods". He's probably never going to wear them when going out boating with the guys but that's not what they are for. In the water, these are great.

These are quite snug when sized right and contour well to the shape of the body. The tightest part is the very bottom on the thighs, it almost feels like a string wrapped around the lower thighs. This tightness around the legs keeps water out if you are diving feet first. The rest of it is very comfy like you’re not wearing anything at all. There is not much compression near the groin area, certainly less than my gym compression shorts.These are great for high performance swimming and are Made in Cambodia.
