  • ITEM SPECIFICATIONS: Our Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover and Installer Tool Kit is a disconnect toolset that releases the power steering pulleys from the pump and installs new ones on most American domestic vehicles. The kit fits pulley hubs with diameters of 1 1/8 inches, 1 1/4 inches, 1 5/16 inches, and 1 3/8 inches. This kit is a must-have for the new plastic pulleys found on newer vehicles!
  • PROPER USE: Use lubrication on the tools prior to use. Place the threaded screw in the center of your pulley with the half-moon clamp shells and lip retaining ring surrounding it, then place the grabber nut center piece with a die on top. Tightly screw the threaded stud onto the center of the end of your puller nut, and then use your tool of choice to loosen and remove. When you're finished, store the tools safely in the included high quality storage case.

This is a great tool . I however did break one of the installers after several months of use but ARES made it right and warranty the whole set .. have purchased several of thier products and couldn't recommend ARES TOOLS enough..

Bought this because my cheap auto store puller was not working, i was very delighted to receive it quickly and use it immediately. I was able to pull the pulley off on the car saving me lots of time and install the new one very quickly getting my son's car back on the road the next day. Good quality and design!

Product work great for power steering pump removal on 89 Camaro. My pulley was on there really good and it took it off no problem. Didn't phase the threads or bend the bolt. Junk pullers are good for a few uses but this one will last for sure. For the price, you can't beat it.

I ordered 2 days ago, received it today used it today 2006 Chrysler 300 3.5 liters this pully was pretty rusty froze up. as the kind of should be. Impart mechanic so I understand how these things work and I know a tools limitation this tool did just fine. now would it wrench a pully of a 95 ford diesel....probably as long as you understand this is not a $200 puller. if you assist it, it will assist you. It also installs pulleys and has various threads for doing so. again I took the time to clean the threads and understand you cant go walhen on it with an impact gun. and I can brake the 200 ones just as easy. hope this helps people out.

The puller/installer works like a charm. The ideal to use for the job. Quick and simple and it gets the job done. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase of this product. Why rent one from a auto parts place when you can purchase for the same price and not have to worry about returning it.
