I live in the woods of northeastern Minnesota. I have stone pathways and grassy trails around the cabin, and a gravel driveway (the 800 foot) driveway is plowed, but a couple three times each winter, I have to throw snow over the banks as the driveway narrows, and clear out snow in front of the mailbox from the county plow. Needless to say, with all the stones and rocks, the sheer pins will break and need to be replaced.

I found the spare one tucked in the front after buying those!! Oops. That said, they’re legit identical so I know I won’t mess up my snowblower in the future when I get to use these. A good buy indeed!

Not much to add, Much safer to spend a few more $$ and avoid costly repairs down the road. In my experience, OEM belts and shear pins/bolts are components that are worth the extra cost, whether dealing with Ariens or other North-American brands.

They are in Ariens packaging and the bolt heads have the scripted “A†(Ariens) emblem. They are not black coated.
