About this item

  • QUALITY: Arkwright Cheesecloth is made from natural food grade cotton. Made of 100% cotton, this bleached muslin fabric is durable, washable and reusable. It's absorbent, which makes it ideal for making hung curd, soy milk, cottage cheese and more.
  • DURABLE AND REUSABLE: This strong 100% natural cotton fabric can be washed and used again and again, which saves you money, and helps the environment too. When we talk about our 50 grade cheesecloth, one of the things that stand out is the durability and lifespan of the cloth. Not only is the cheesecloth strong, it also is reusable many times over.
  • WASHABLE: Wash in the washing machine or by hand in the sink. Avoid detergents and fabric softeners. Use only mild detergent if necessary, and rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue. If there are bits of curd sticking to the cloth, rinse with whey or white vinegar to help remove it.
  • DIMENSIONS: Each box has extra large size: length 70 Yards and width 1 Yard. While most cheese cloths are only 2-5 Yards long, ours is 70 Yards long, which makes it most suitable for bulk use.
  • USAGE: It is ideal for straining stocks as well as canning. Use it for basting or stuffing poultry. It is also useful when making soft cheeses that need a mesh wrap. Keep chicken or fish intact when poaching. Wrap a turkey or chicken when roasting. Squeeze the juice out of a lemon without letting the seeds fall into the juice. Or you can use it to wrap spices.

I ordered the grade 90 cheesecloth- it has been perfect for straining my tinctures, canning, brewing tea, and anything that involves staining. Fine material. The bulk quantity was a steal for this price, plus it is reusable100% cotton. I did not measure exactly how much I recieved, however I have a ton!

We use it to wrap shrubs for the winter to discourage the deer from eating them.

Not sure what to say other than the cheesecloth was nicely folded in the box, and there is tons of it! I normally use it for straining butter or other cooking related tasks, but have also used it to stain hardwood a filter some oil to see if there was any debris. Great Quality!

The product is good. The material isn’t quite soft it’s kind of stiff but a washing will do it good. It came clean and nicely folded and it’s what I wanted but the box it came in is severely damaged and dirty. It looks like it was taped up so much between stops it was a real hassle to open.

We ordered this to make our own table runners. The fabric was perfect for this purpose and took the dye well. They dried and were super soft and flowy, just like we were hoping.
