I needed a way to attach some decorative LED edison light strings to ceiling joices. My first attempt, I used a traditional Arrow staple gun with all metal staples. This resulted in several instances of me peircing the cable with misfired staples. I decided that traditional metal staples were not the ideal solution, and then I stumbled upon this staple gun. I painstakingly removed and replaced all the metal staples with these staples and I was quite happy I did. The gun was easy to use, didn't jam once, and I wasted exactly 1 staple through the whole ordeal. My only gripe is that, even the smallest size staples were still far too large for the small diameter cable for something like string lights or christmas lights. This means that you need to pull the string of lights tight because the actual staple is not going to hold the string firm like a traditional staple would. This stapler and the staples that fit appear to be better designed for rounded cables and NOT for flat cables. That doesn't mean it won't work, it just means there will be some play in the cable. I'm not sure how I've gone so long without owning one of these. It's worth the investment, even for the average homeowner who occasionally has to run a cable, temporary or permanent.

Works great, but hard to get close to edge of wall, and corners.

I used this thing to mount CAT6 cables throughout my garage. I probably overdid it. but I used a ton of the custom staples and it did the job. Its sturdy and I loved working with it.Quick easy solution if you dont have power tools. You do need some strength and leverage to push it, so on a ladder with nothing to hold onto this can be challenging.

These staples worked great for hanging ethernet/cat6 cable in my crawlspace. The notch in the stapler makes it easy to position and I never had any problems with staples over or under driving. Also never had a staple miss or cut through the cable sheathing. No problems at all here, great product. I was stapling into the underside of wood floor joists.

This tool is solid and works flawlessly. I used it to network my whole house and never had an issue.I used the "clear" color staples and they worked great with this tool for tacking network cable. I think the smaller size 1/4" x 1/4" stables may work a bit better, but I could only find them in black. One of the other reviews I read says it doesn't drive the staples all the way in, but mine does without any gap at all. It's possible they got a defective unit.Pros-------------+ Made in the USA!+ Very sturdy construction, it's basically 100% stainless steel+ Tacks cable evenly every time, mine drives the staple all the way in+ No electrical cord or batteries to worry about, it just works+ Will probably last foreverCons-------------- Not really a con because I knew this when I purchased it, but it doesn't seem to be able to accept smaller size staples for electrical or audio wiring. I think Arrow makes another tool for that, but it would be nice to have an all-in-one solution.

Used it to run over 100ft of data cable outside a home. Functioned perfectly. Jammed occasionally, but I blame the staples. Get yours!

OK, so I wired my new house with low voltage wiring. Starlink, phone, RG6, speaker and ethernet. Did my research and felt that this staple and stapler was the cats meow with the little plastic holding clamps. The problem is that the wire used is flat and on many triggers folds back and ricochets back into the cable! And I am stapling into soft pine! After I got done wiring my new house, I first hooked up my Starlink satellite and internet was dead. So I crawled into the attic and discovered the staple folded back into the Starlink cable, pierced it and severed my connection. So I am out my dish to router cable ($70) and my $30 ethernet adapter cable was pierced too. Attached is a picture of four consecutive staples into pine with good hand pressure on a smaller cable. Only one of the four worked as it should. I am so screwed for the dry wallers have hung the sheetrock I have yet to test the 40+ ethernet cables, phone, cable and speaker wires I ran thru my new home build. I am so screwed!
