I've had this for several years now and I still love it. A couple of the bamboo sticks have snapped and the stitching has frayed in a few places, but all in all not bad wear for an item that got near daily use while I was in school.As others have mentioned the top is open so there is nothing stopping the brushes from sliding out if the roll is held even slightly upside-down, but I always stuffed it upright in my bookbag with the rest of my supplies, so I never ran into the problem at class or out and about. This isn't the prettiest brush rollup out there, but functionality and price were more important to me as a student and this definitely did the job well. The openness from the bamboo meant that my brushes always dried nice and soft, and never got the strange musty smell that letting them dry in closed containers caused.If you're looking for something simple to hold your brushes in, this is definitely a strong choice. The bamboo brush rollup works well as intended. The rolled-up bamboo holder keeps all brushes safely protected, and it allows brushes to air-dry and keeps all bristles straight. The holder is large enough to accommodate most brushes. But make sure it is rolled up and tied securely, as brushes tend to slide out of the pockets if the holder is held upside down.This one came with one snapped bamboo slat at where the cord was attached--a minor defect that does not affect its use.The price is fantastic. The holder came promptly.

Perfect for my needs. All brushes are well protected, including the long Da Vinci ones. The material is natural, and open not closed as with some other brush holders. The brushes dry natural and fresh.

Love how this separates the brushes and keeps the bristles from getting bent. Bamboo is durable and it vents so it helps the drying process. I host several paint parties and this works great for carrying lots of brushes.

Does the job but needs a better way to keep it rolled up. Large size good for long brushes? Inexpensive

This sweet brush holder keeps the brushes straight, protecting the bristles. The bamboo is absorbent, helping prevent mold. I use it to take my brushes to classes or to panting at outside sites. It is so affordable. I love it.

I love this. I was going to paint a mural and was tired of traveling with loose brushes. This arrived just in time. Each day after cleaning my brushes I was able to put them int this bamboo carrier and not have to worry about taking them out to dry at home. They were protected in. The case and could easily dry while rolled up. Also while on the job I could unroll the brushes , lay them down and have easy access and since they are all lined up it makes it easy to find the brush you need quickly.

Perfect roll-up for my paint brushes, even the really long ones. Great value. Nice and durable against my cat, who loves the smell of my sable brushes, and would otherwise chew them to death if he could get his paws on them. Pockets are sewn on better than I could have done myself, and don't look like they'll come apart any time soon. No stray thread ends (sewing was finished properly).Extra bonus points - the tie string randomly chosen for mine ended up being purple, one of my fave colours!
