This double boiler pot was ideal to melt chocolate for candy molds. Perfect size for stirring; and the convenience of the rubber handled top pot was genius! The accessories that were included with the purchase made filling the molds so much more accurate. The top pot holds securely on the lip of the bottom pot with an attached sturdy hanger. Works perfectly. Would purchase this item again.

It was really too small for my holiday chocolates, hoping to be able to use for dipping friut in during Valentines festivities. Great idea. Also, the bottom boiler is a thinner metal than I had expected. I am going to keep it, just in case.

This product came on time and was well packaged. Unfortunately there was a small defect with the manufacturing. When I received there was a card inside that asked to please contact them instead of returning if there were issues and send a picture. I did. Response in less than 48 hours, resolved my issue and sent replacement right away no hassle what so ever. Replacement item came quickly as well.Highly recommend! Its probably not possible to inspect each and ever product manufactured or we'd be paying a lot more for those QC man hours but when the seller is willing to immediately resolve the issue thats a win in my book. I would absolutely purchase from them again and I highly recommend. Seller honestly went above and beyond! Very much appreciated!

this reminds me of camping pots thin,cheap and disposable when you burn the heck out of it. i saw some great reviews im not seeing how this was used for melting chocolate. it looked more like a kids play cookware item.

I bought this melting pot/double boiler set specifically for making melt & pour soap. The 600 ML melting pot holds 1 pound of melted soap with not much room to spare. I had to be careful stirring it because it is easy to slop it over the edge when it so so full. I ordered a 1000 ML one for next time I make soap so there is more room. I'll keep the 600 ml one for other projects. Overall I am happy with it. It's well made and seems sturdy and will probably last a very long time. The spatual and whisks that come with it are a bonus.
