I am very pleased with the amount of brushes I got for the price. I like the points on the round brushes they are very nice. I would buy these again.

I keep looking for the perfect detail brushes. I try many different kinds. Expensive ones. Inexpensive ones. I keep coming back to these. So far these have lasted me the longest. I try not to leave them in water for very long. I am an acrylic artist and paint on cotton canvas board that can be really hard on brushes. I have ordered four or five sets of these over the past 5 years. I paint mostly small canvases....5 x 7, 6 x 6, or 8 x 10....once in a while I get wild and paint a 9 x 12.

This is a good, well rounded set for the price and I’m so glad that I finally broke down and got myself some decent brushes instead of trying to get by with the junk that I had. Using these for the first time was such a joy! We’ll see how they hold up. If I don’t update this review, assume they’re still going strong! :)

To start with, these are some biiiig brushes. The handles are long and the larger sizes are much bigger than I expected. The Pro's:1. Variety. I'm a complete beginner to watercolor and was looking for a set that had all the main brush types with some variety in sizes - round, flat, liner, cat's tongue and dagger. There are so many sets on Amazon but a surprisingly small amount with a cat's tongue or dagger included which this had so I was very pleased about that.2. Price. I wanted quite a few brushes to test and play around with but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg as a newbie. You get 12 brushes here for somewhere between $20-$25 (the price fluctuates) which is a great deal.3. Quality. The brushes seem sturdy with pointed tips on the round brushes and secure, anti-rust ferrules on all. I don't know how well they'll hold up as I've only started using them a few days ago but definitely no issues with paint cracking on the handles or loose/shedding hairs. To get the most of your brushes, remember to never leave them in water and to always clean off paint asap.4. Brand. Arteza is a solid art brand and these brushes are part of their premium line. I thought they'd be a good place to start rather than the cheaper options from no-name Chinese brands. The Con's:1. These are synthetic brushes which means that they hold less water, generally speaking, than natural brushes. And again, I'm a beginner so I have nothing really to compare them too in terms of water loading but I did expect the brushes to hold a bit more water than they do. Maybe this will increase with more use?Overall, I really like these brushes. They're a good mid-quality selection at a very affordable price. Time will tell how the handle and bristles hold up but for persons just starting out, this is a good place to start.

Well made ferrules, normal length slightly thin handle. They're a little stiff at first but follow countours after a bit of working.Good enough for tabletop standard miniatures. It's not a kolinsky and it doesn't pretend to be.

I recently used these on a pet portrait commission of 6 foster dogs for a woman at the humane society. They were a pleasure to work with in oils. The paint load and absorption to the brush was smooth and didn’t “goop upâ€. I found the spot and liner to be very useful for adding details to the fur and eyes. Arteza makes quality products and while I’m not sponsored, I’ve been loyal to the brand for the most part and satisfied with their products. The brushes easily washed clean with minimal to no residual paint. I’m quite happy with these brushes vs some of the other detail brushes I’ve bought on amazon.

Recomendables si comienzas a pintar porque la calidad precio es muy buena, en principio no veo necesario hacerme con unos profesionales hasta que no aprenda a sacarles el 100%. Yo los estoy utilizando para detalles y acabados en zapatillas.

For some strange reason these are my go to brush at the moment. Great for adding detail on models. Had doubts on arrival but working well. If anything I would like the handles a touch longer but they are still usable.

Lovely, compact brushes that I've found are my new favourite for acrylics. They are both soft and firm so they're perfect for applying large amounts of paint of subtle blending. Haven't had any hair shedding yet but I haven't used them a lot.

I use them for fine detail in watercolors. They hold a good amount of paint, release it well, and are easy to use and clean. I've used them for a few months and had good results.
