I am so happy with this purchase. I have a little Chihuahua Bobbi I was having a hard time potty training. I got this put a doggie pad beneath the grass and it was all set. At first she looked at it and didn't really like it. She went on a pad so I put her poop on the grass. After that she went on it. It took her about three days to get used to it now she either goes outside or on the pad. It has been a lifesaver and no accidents in the house. You have to clean it regularly so they will continue to use it and I wash off the whole thing once per week. It is durable, does not smell, and was large enough for my dog. I have recommended it to my friends and family. It is an awesome product.

I have a 300 dollar porch potty which my dog likes to use , especially in poor weather, but this is so much more affordable and works equally well. I also put a doggie pad between layers for easy clean up. You can use this inside or on a balcony for apartment dwellers. Anyone who has a dog that doesnt want to go out in poor weather will find this a good alternative

I bought two new puppies and the owner had them outside, so I thought this grass would be a good idea. This has worked wonders in potty training! Why haven’t I bought this before? The two puppies gravitated to it so quickly. The only thing is that I should’ve bought another one as it tends to smell after awhile. I started using puppy pads around and on top just to try to not have them pee as much as on the grass and that seems to work. Other than that this grass is great and lasts for awhile! It was easy to set up coming right out of the box. The product is exactly how it looked on the box and pretty big. It was worth every penny.

We live in a high rise apartment with a “dog park†in front of the building, but we still wanted a better option for quick pee breaks for our dog, especially for stormy days or late at night.Our neighbor recommended this pad to us and it has been such a life saver.It’s the perfect size, great quality and so well made. The grass doesn’t come off and all parts are easy to clean. We add some extra pee pads right under the grass and on top of the three other layers just to keep it even cleaner.We leave the grass pad on our balcony and getting our dog to actually use it was a frustrating and long process to say the least.But two tips for anyone who might be struggling: teach your dog to “pee on command†and/or don’t take them out at night and the next morning when you know they have to pee, take them straight to the pad.A combination of these two things made the difference for us.When I took my dog out to pee and she did her little dance, I started adding my command. Right as she finishes her business, I praise and reward her as usual when training.So when I took her out to the balcony one morning instead of outside and used the command, she finally understood what I’ve been trying to get her to do in the first place, and it worked!

this works well as a potty training pad and it is easy to clean with how easily it comes apart BUT the artificial grass is so cheap and sucks! my pup has been able to tear out little chunks of grass and there are strands of grass all over the room, and some in his stool too :(. the back of the mat is also flakey so leaves a mess behind as well. I wish the grass was better quality and the ends were sewn or more secure so pup wouldn't be able to tear out strands of the mat. Also wish there was a way that all parts locked together so that pup could not play with the mat and take it off the tray. overall it works as a good tool but is kind of messy!

Low quality of faux grass. Shreds all over the place. When contacted the company to advise of this and give them the opportunity to make it right they just referred me back to Amazon.Will not be purchasing from them again.

Only used the grass for a day or so, then just put pee pads on the tray.

It's pretty cheaply constructed. The bottom tray is okay. I wish it had anti-slip something on the bottom. The grid third layer is very thin plastic, so the pee pad is very helpful in this case. The Astro turf grass is to be expected, very plasticky. It feels like plastic to my dog too and she doesn't like standing on it. If she does pee on it, when she walks off it, she leaves wet pee paw prints on the hardwood floor. Overall my dog isn't taking to this. She'll pees on it sometimes But only if I gently keep her in place and sit there for however long it takes until she pees. She won't poop on it. It does have a subtle, lingering smell. Probably easier to just keep cleaning the hard floor after she has an accident then deal with this. Wish I could return it.
