I went from a hard top carrying case to this soft top carrying case after the hinge on my hardtop broke and was irreplaceable. We drove from Oregon to California in the middle of winter with constant rain. My items stayed totally dry. Not as easy to open and close as the hardtop, but I did not expect it to be excellent value for the money. Very happy with this purchase.

Has worked very well, definitely water proof and gives us me so much more space in the car for my dogs. The buckles should have been made of metal ad not plastic. Also one of the zippers broke so we only have one zipper now.

This has no "form" as it appears to have in the pictures. Just a floppy bag the doesn't hold its shape. Would make loading and unloading really difficult. Not at all what I expected or needed. A waterproof duffle bag or 2 in the bed of the truck would work better than this. Returned.

I packed this carrier with all of my clothing and drove from NC to NY with no problems. The first 100 miles, I expected it to slide or snap off but the carrier didnΓ’β¬β’t budge for the entire trip. It held tight. I was also wary about going faster than 55 mph but it held fast going over 70 mph. Very durable. The storage capacity was great. I vacuumed sealed all of my clothing so I was able to fit a lot more in the carrier. I would recommend this carrier to anyone.

I've never had or used any type of cargo carrier rack or bag, so this was my first experience. First, I'll say that this is a product I would have been glad to utilize a long time ago in life! I always thought of needing a carrier merely for storage overflow. IΓ’β¬β’ve since come to the wonderful realization that we donΓ’β¬β’t first have to be crowded in the car before we can utilize the carrier!First and foremost, the product has proved exceptionally sturdy, durable, safe and secure throughout all our travels! I really didnΓ’β¬β’t know what to make of a PVC / fabric style cargo rack, and automatically assumed that it would be Γ’β¬Εless thanΓ’β¬Β in all features as compared to a hard case cargo rack. I was majorly wrong, and gratefully so, if for no other reason than storing the carrier when not in use!! This bag is a beast in both design and durability, and IΓ’β¬β’ve grown to have complete comfort and faith in how securely fastened it is to the car roof and how stable it remains throughout the drive and in all weather conditions.The bag provides ample space within the structurally protective PVC material. We have had no water leaking issues and the material wicks the water away so that when we arrive at our destination, we can quickly and safely open the bag to retrieve our belongings without having to dry the bag first. 21Γ’β¬β’ cubic feet is difficult to describe Γ’β¬Β¦ my attempt: it feels like an additional trunk! In fact, I googled it and the average size trunk of a Large Sedan is 17-21 cubic feet, soΓ’β¬Β¦ yes, lots of room and hopefully that helps give you an idea!While I donΓ’β¬β’t have prior experience to know personally, I have many travel companions who have commented on the non-slip rubber mat as being a remarkably Γ’β¬ΕsimpleΓ’β¬Β yet Γ’β¬ΕbrilliantΓ’β¬Β idea to provide a huge amount of extra security and stability for the bag in relation to being fitted to the rooftop. Just that extra bit of grip makes a tremendous amount of difference. Seems obvious in hindsight, lol!Super easy to install and use. Strong, thick side straps and corner fasteners. Very glad to have this space-saver and room-creator!

This is a really nice rooftop cargo carrier bag for the value! It's heavy duty, waterproof, fit my car perfectly and was super easy to install. The material is rip resistant with huge, durable zippers but you still need to be careful not to rip it It's rip resistant not rip proof. ItΓ’β¬β’s got tons of space to the point of almost being cavernous. The strong attachment points make it feel really secure. ItΓ’β¬β’s easy to put on and take off, and way easier to deal with than a bulky cargo case. Definitely helpful for when you want to make more room in your car during those long trips with the kids. It was great for us.
