My old original rubber hose unit was shedding the outside covering and such eventually causing it to leak; this stainless braided hose is great as it will take more abrasion and still holds up.

I bought one of these a few years back. As a professional mechanic it gets used a lot. Compared to buying a Matco replacement this thing is well worth it. I do wish the plastic guard would stay in place better to prevent the hose from kinking and fraying at the end.

This product is very high quality and I am sure will last for years given it's a braided steel line rather than the rubber line which came on my original line which rotted and cracked after a few years of use. Installation was as easy as you'd expect, and it "bites" onto the valve very well and holds firmly. No leaks and it's a bit longer than my old one, which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend!

Needed a replacement hose for my Astro Pneumatic tire inflator which originally came with a rubber style hose. This is a direct replacement and a upgrade from the original rubber hose which cracked over time. Took a while to get use to the stiffness of the hose due to the stainless steel. It was nice that it came with an extra tire chuck since the old one I had was quite worn. Overall I am very please with this replacement hose and would definitely recommend it.
