This product is so versatile - good for baking for sure but look it for when boiling items and testing the softness for those items. Length is great and so much better than a toothpick

These are great for baking. Much better than a toothpick. They are easy to clean and compact. You can also use them to test for doneness on other than bakery items. I also use them to see how done potatoes are both baked and roasted ones. Very reasonable price for a three pack. If you do a lot of baking, it is worth the money.

One would think that something this simple would be unremarkable, but these things are great. I especially like that I can toss them in the dishwasher after use.

I have been looking for these and couldn't seem to find them in the store. Thought I'd try Amazon and there they were. They are perfect for testing to see if your baked goods are done, from cakes to muffins to cupcakes. If I lose one I have two others to rely on. The length is good, better than toothpicks, which seem to be difficult to find. I will make good use of these Ateco cake testers since I am an avid baker.

Product description is wrong. Not 7 inches, clearly 6 inches. Product does what it’s supposed to do but you can find it cheaper from other sellers.
