We are preparing for a ski trip and needed a couple of boot/gear bags. After spending quite a bit of time on Amazon researching options I decided to go with the Athletico. They got solid reviews, and were one of the larger bags. Summer just ended, so we have not had them to the ski hill yet, but I have put my ski boots into my bag and they fit well with plenty of room. For reference, I wear a size 11 mens shoe. Each boot has its own zippered pocket, and then there is a huge center storage compartment for other gear like helmet, goggles, ski clothes etc. The bag has a carry handle, and also straps that either tuck away or can be used to wear the bag like a backpack if you have a long distance to carry your gear. While the bag has not been on a road trip yet, based on initial impressions I anticipate these bags will work well on our trip.

Sometimes I kick myself for buying golf shoes at Christmas and ski equipment in August. But THIS time I made a great decision. My boot bag last year was a knock off backpack and just never worked for me. It was a pack that stored the boots in the center. No problem there but I just could never get the straps to work so I ended up toting it by the flimsy top handle. I knew I wanted to upgrade this year!This Althletico pack is a boots to the side model with drainage and ventilation. It also has HIDE AWAY STRAPS which was important. I am still not sure I will be a backpacker. But by hiding the straps it becomes much easier to tote by the carry handle. One strong handle, one not so strong, but acceptable handle. TONS of space! Plenty of room for my 28.5 boots, helmet, gloves, goggles... and etc. Way more room than I expected. And with the boots to the side the bag seems to balance well, whether I backpack or tote. A pricier model I was considering had mini feet on the bottom. No feet here but worth the price for sure. I also like the top pocket with the clear zipper pocket inside. A number of clips for keys etc are also inside most of the pockets. Likely a useful feature. Previous models must have had the outside bungee straps over the top pocket as I see them in older photos. With so much room I doubt I will miss them. Zippers are always a concern... The zippers and the top handle are the reason for my reduction to 4 stars. Fingers crossed both hold up. Priced paid is what locked the deal for me. This was a 'like new' purchase priced at under $15! Certainly 'new' quality as it even came with the tags attached! I think I have a winner boot bag. I know I have a bargain!Update: The center storage area is so large I decided to stack a couple of dollar store bins to help sort the goodies stored there. Helmet and googles still top off the area. As a bonus the bins give the bag a bit more upright sturdiness. Without the bins it seemed to collapse to the middle. Still tweaking it, but I believe I will enjoy my bargain boot bag. Next tweak might be the 'top' handle? It could use a bit more sturdiness. The very sturdy middle (front) handle will likely be my choice for toting.

This bag is ideal for skiing equipment. The bag has designated pockets for boots on either size with vents. This bag also fits all of my other ski items that I need, like my helmet, gloves, winter hat, another pair of shoes, and makeup. The bag can be worn like a backpack which makes it easy when walking to and from the car to the lodge, and you can still carry your skis while wearing it. I love how this bag is easy to clean and the vents help keep it from smelling. The inside of the bag also has a spot to attach keys so you won't lose them. I have been using this since 2021 (it is now 2024) and it is in perfect condition still.

I read reviews before buying anything and I'm not shy about returning items. This bag is a keeper. It has sturdy fabric and plenty of room. I fly to my ski destinations and realize that baggage handlers aren't paid to be gentle. After 4 trips this past year, the bag shows virtually no wear.I don't really use the outside pockets because there's so much room on the inside for helmet, gloves, neck gaiters, thermos, extra socks, thermal layer, etc. This could certainly be an overnight bag with clothes if I didn't use my ski/snowboard bag for such. Price was very good for all of this utility.

I skate on a pair of size 14 (EU48) Rollerblade RB80s. They fit in the boot sections of this bag (admittedly, flipped on their backs with the wheels parallel to my spine. Still very comfortable. My rollerblades measure 15.5 inches from the back of the brake to end of the front wheel, and 14 inches in height.The center cavity is very spacious. It fits my Triple 8 XL/XXL helmet, 2-3XL 187 Killer knee pads, and all my other gear with plenty of room to spare.I do wish the center compartment was ventilated. If the bag proves sturdy over time, I may look at ventilating it myself.

UPDATE: almost 2 years later and I still love this bag. It’s held up extremely well and I’ve had no issues with it.I wanted a larger boot bag than I currently have and after looking at nearly every bag on Amazon, decided on this. I LOVE it! It fits everything I need for the mountain except my skis and poles. I easily fit my ski boots, helmet, goggles, gloves, ski jacket, pants, sweater, various thicknesses of wool long johns, hand warmers, and various other small items. I love that I can use the backpack straps or zip them inside and just use the handle. I ended up tucking in 1 backpack strap and will use the other to throw the bag over my shoulder. I haven't used it on the mountain yet but it seems to be very well made.

I carry my ski boots, helmet and gloves with a change of clothes it has a zip pocket inside for keys phone etc. I need to change outside instead of in a room so this allows me to carry all my gear on one shoulder and skis in a bag on the other. I have also cycled with this bag and its comfortable. If you packed additional clothes in a ski bag you could use this as a check in bag for a planned trip.

J ai été surpris par la taille de ce produit. J ai placé mes deux bottes de ski sur chaque côté et il restait encore une immence place au milieu pour y placer les deux casques et il reste encore de la place pour y mettre je ne sais quoi d autre. À voir l utilisation sur la longueur

Diese Tasche ist eine sehr günstige Alternative zu "spezialisierten" Rucksäcken für Inline Skates. Sie ist gut verarbeitet mit praktischen Seitenfächern und genug separaten Innenfächern. Insgesamt reichlich Platz auch für Schützer.Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Spezialisierte Rucksäcke für Inline-Skater bieten keinesfalls mehr, gingen in der Vergangenheit oft schneller Kaputt und kosteten locker das vierfache.Einziger kleiner Schwachpunkt waren die Befestigungs-Karabiner für die Schultergurte. Diese haben die Neigung sich zu öffnen, wenn die Tasche sehr schwer beladen ist und beim Abstreifen von der Schulter noch etwas Fallhöhe dazu kommt. Dann verbiegen die Haken und brechen irgendwann nach häufigerem zurück biegen. Danach musste es ein Kabelbinder tun.Trotzdem klare Kaufempfehlung.
