So glad I purchased this! Some of the reviews are so skewed. So, without further ado..This is a solid bag. The zippers are big and heavy duty. (please do NOT listen to the review from the person who doesn't know how to operate a zipper!!). No problems zipping and unzipping.All straps are well sewn in, and very sturdy. Handles are sturdy. Material is good, and pliable.I wear a 28.5 boot, and they fit nicely. There's room in the boot compartment to store more gear if needed. The exterior of one boot compartment had a zippered pocket.. I put all my hand warmers, and miscellaneous little things in there.Inside has plenty of space. For reference, I have 3 pairs of goggles (more on that in a moment), a hood, two think neck warmers, two hats, a pair of gloves, glove liners, an extra pair of socks, and my helmet in there, with plenty of room to spare.In the main compartment, there is a separate soft zippered pocket for goggles. I fit two pair in it, no problems.In the top opening flap, there is an inside zippered storage area, and one on the outside as well for quick access items. On the outside flap there's also a "mesh" strap to throw in a water bottle etc without losing it.The back side has a pocket for shoulder straps if you don't want to use the backpack. If you do, it's easy to fit onto your back, and is comfortable to carry.At first, I didn't think it would have enough room, and after packing what was in my much larger bag into it, with room to spare, I'd say this will handle all your needs on the slopes easily.Pros:RoomySolid constructionComfortableAmazing price / valueLots of storage areasWill help with the long walks from the parking lot to the lodgeCons:Haven't found one.I'm glad I saw this before I purchased one that was about $40 more for basically the same thing!

I recently purchased this boot bag to go along with a ski bag of the same brand (Element) For anyone concerned about size this bag is fantastic. I have a size 14 ski boot and was having a hard time finding something big enough online. I did a lot of research and I was pretty sure this bag would be big enough. Glad I got it right the first time as I'm sure had I bought others I would have had to return them. To be honest this bag would probably would fit a 15 boot. Because I have some room to spare. You put each boot in the Right and Left side compartments and then you have a large compartment in the middle for any other gear. Gloves, hat, helmet, pants whatever. The bag has nice sturdy handles or can be used as a backpack with the included straps. The straps are partially in a pocket so you can hook them up or put them away if you don't need them. Overall this is an excellent promise with great customer service too.

This bag is better than I expected. The materials are heavy duty and I think it will be durable. I appreciate that the zippers are large and they are easy to open and close. The compartment is easily large enough for my ski boots, helmet, goggles, ski pants, and all the rest. For me it is functional and a good buy.

Perfect size for a pair of 29.5 ski boots, helmet, goggles and other accessories. Hidden backback straps, padded back, and sturdy top and side handles make carrying easy.

Have been using this boot bag for 5 winters now for both local and flyaway ski trips & it's been overall great. It's the big kind so you can fit boots, helmet, & all your outdoors gear in it (though be aware it will become quite heavy with all that stuff inside--I know this is why some prefer smaller ones). There's mesh padding on the part resting on your back & some padding in the straps too. There's also a few pockets for storage including a sort of plastic lined one on the inside to keep stuff from getting wet from your gear. All in all, great bag--except the straps aren't so sturdy (at last on year 5 anyway). There is an option to detach the shoulder straps & tuck them away which I typically did whenever I had to check it during air travel, but the first time I forgot to do that (this past winter) the bag got to the destination with a broken strap. So my advice would be get the bag but REMEMBER TO TUCK IN STRAPS FOR AIR TRAVEL! :)PS - On that note, I've noticed this exact bag is quite popular so sometimes in the lodge or when collecting baggage at a ski destination people get theirs mixed up with yours, so keep an eye out & make sure to add your name to the little contact Info slot & maybe tie something unique to the outside.

Good quality for the price. It holds a lot more than just ski boots and is easily carried as a backpack.

Before this Element boot bag, I purchased Element Ski Bag, which survived air travel well and based on that experience I purchased 1-st Boot Bag for myself and later the 2-nd one for my wife.It is well designed product, it seems sturdy enough to survive harsh air travel. It is roomy, bigger than my previous bags - High Sierra boot bags. With my size 12 boots I needed a bit extra and it delivers. Total of 4 pockets (two inside and 2 outside) are plenty and the rubber cord holder ot top cover is nice. Also the backpack straps can hide in padded back (zipped closed!), very useful, if you want to avoid air travel damage. The waterproof (PVC?) bottom is vented for boots compartments (holes) and has 4 rubber feet (1.5" squares) for main compartment. I hope the bottom will survive long time without cracking.I also forgot to mention two large handles (front and top) and nice touch - ID pocket with translucent window.Z.
