It is well made with a heavy cord and great pull catch. But.... If your kayak has a large cockpit opening, it probably won't fit. 'Fits most' may be more accurate than 'universal' as a descriptor. It would cost more to return it so I plan to re-purpose it as a half cover shade to minimize some of the sun burns paddling on the lake.

It is not a universal cover bought for Pelican Trailblazer sit in kayak, did not come close to fitting. About a foot short. Very disappointed in this purchase. Nowhere in the description or item specifications does it say what size discover actually is. Highly recommend another brand. Hope to hear from this seller

This did not fit our kayak cockpit. ...which us a little larger than the normal cockpit size by a couple inches. So universal would not be a good title for this item. Otherwise the product was good quality.

The quality of these were good, but they did not fit my kayaks. I have 2 different types of kayaks and these didn't fit either of them.

This product is in no way "universal" as there is no way to adjust it other than to tie a knot in the surprisingly unspringy shock cord. You would not pay more than $10 for this cheaply made product if you saw it hanging on the rack at a retail outlet. To add insult to injury when I returned it OJ Commerce charged me a $9.35 "restocking" fee even though I was required to return the product in it's original packaging at my own expense. This is the kind of company you fear when making online purchases.

Light construction, but perfectly acceptable for keeping bugs and leaf litter out of the cockpit, unless you really enjoy having bugs crawl over your legs while you are out on the water.

I bought two of these and unfortunately only one of them fit despite the 'universal' tag. One cockpit was a about five or six inches bigger than the other and it did not fit. The other one that does fit is great though.

It was not s long as I wanted it, but it was to late to return it. I was able to cover my seat, but not the entire cockpit.
