One wire is short and difficult to connect. But once you get it connected, it works well.

Works for Garden Treasures outdoor heater model# HSS-DSSPC. Pilot light would come on, but shut off when trying to adjust the heat. Several YouTube videos hinted the thermocouple was the issue. BINGO! That was it and easy to replace. Works like new again and paid 7-8 dollars instead of over 150 to buy a new one.

This part was needed for a patio heater. The box stores only carry the ones for water heaters and such. This part fit perfectly.

I ordered a thermocouple that was pictured with threading. The thermocouple that I received is not threaded. The universal thermocouple the send just can’t be adapted to my heater.

Make sure to measure your old one before ordering. The leads on this were way too short for my heater so it’s not truly universal. I suppose it functions as it should. Not worth sending back.

For only 14$ it was worth the wait to get out patio heater going again for the winter. The heater is about 10 years old and that was all it needed! Couldn't find it in Australia! Thanks Amazon!!
