This pin is well made with brilliant red, white and blue. The stripes on the flag itself are a little wide; hence the reason for the extra pin (prong) to stabilize the flag. The short pin is a feature, not a flaw. Haven't worn it yet to know this for certain, but the internet told me that's the case 😊

I like the quality of this American flag lapel pin. It has 50 stars and 13 stripes. The stars have detailed points and good shape. The stripes have smooth edges.
