Prefer this to the Spidergard although both are at 50KN rating..The added separation at the base is very useful for me personally....Excellent product for a really good price...

This thing is a beast. I bought it for rock/tree climbing, but it’s overkill. Now I use it for anchoring a heavy duty gym rope. It’s very solid and appears to be high quality construction

This item is excellent. Exceptionally large gate would make it suitable for military and para rescue operations. Good sized captive eye should accommodate a decent sized swagable thimble for use with cable or rope. These are generally used in commercial operations, but are actually light enough for recreational use. Have some of these type of units already. " hot maintenance tip: use ptfe dry lube to prevent oxidation of the cadmium coating. Dust and grit are an enemy to this equipment." Going to reorder it again.
