I love the Nite Ize biners, esp. the slide lock ones. Always carry one backpacking for its versatility. I usually use this to clip my backpack to my hammock suspension in order to keep the pack off the ground. The lock holds very well; never had an issue. Never had any damage to the stainless steel carbiner bod. Works as great as the day I bought it. And super affordable! Lightweight too!Holds my crocs to my pack while walking. Also holds my solar charger to my pack. And my stainless steel cup to my belt loop when desired. Love this for all it can hold for me!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I really love this clip and I love the plastic lock that protects it from opening. I use it to clip my dog's leash to my pant's belt loop to walk him hands-free.

This is possibly the most perfect carabiner I have found. So far after getting into the habit of automatically locking it when putting it on my belt loop my only fear is that somehow my belt loop will break and I will lose my keys. Just the right size that it doesn't get in the way by being too large. I have the black one and the silver one, the black one gets scratched and looses it's color very quickly after use and doesn't look so great so I'll stick to the silver one.

Love that I don't have to worry about my keys getting unclipped. Thigh, at times my key ring gets stuck where the lil black locking slide goes, which is difficult to pop back out. So gotta make sure to lock it bk up right after unclipping from my belt loop or once replacing bk to loop.

Several times a day I attach and detach this carabiner from my belt loop. It lasted a couple years so I bought a few more.

I've got several of the smaller mini s-biners on my keychain, to hold USB keys and car key fobs, and make them easy and quick to attach and detach from my main keychain.The bigger slide lock sits on my laptop bag, and quickly gives me a way to organize my keychain and keep it close and somewhere I can remember.Tough for what I need, sturdily built, and will not casually open.

I bought these to tie off to the end of my boat fender lines, that way I have more options for hanging the fenders and keeping the boat protected. They work great!

This is a tough one, since I love the nite ize S-Biner so much. These ones, by comparison, don't have enough utility, especially compared to getting a cheap, climing carabiner, which would do much the same thing, perhaps saving a few grams.I still gave four stars because the build is still good, slidelock nice, and I do use it to clip lights to my pack while riding. Fits well on the front of the shoulderstraps of North Face backpacks, actually. I just have the comparison with real carabiner and the S-Biner, with the latter from Nite Ize being such a perfect product.However, I'd much consider getting a normal, quality carabiner or the S-Biner instead.

Firstly if ur looking for a carabeaner this isn't explicitly a bad one it holds about 200 pounds before it deforms and becomes unusable so pls don't climb with it also it's got sharp edges. The locking features perhaps the worst I've seen black diamond makes a great climbing grade breaner with a great screw lock and it doesn't break also it's rates at 22kn it's $11 u can also get a black diamond wire gate for similar price to this and again the quality is much mu h higher and u won't have to worry about how much u load it overall don't recommend
