This is an upgrade to my older OOSSXX wireless security system. While it was nice having wireless POE offers a much more performance. This was just as easy to set up as the last version. Comes with NVR, hard drive, remote, and 4 - 4k 8MP cameras. I routed all the network cables through the attic to each corner of the house so I could have full coverage. The AI motion detection works flawlessly cutting down on the false alerts that I was getting in the previous system. One of the best features is the AI tracking and will follow the motion and then once that event is over it will return to its home position which is a super cool feature. The smart app works well and allows you to pan, tilt, and zoom. Another great feature is the 2 way talking so you can talk to the person that is in range of the camera and they can talk back. FOV is about 130 degrees which works out well when trying to cover more area between cameras. Video is super clear and night vision works well due to the built in infrared LEDS. This set is a great value for the money as it comes with everything you need even includes 60 ft network cables. I have this hooked up to a 32 inch monitor for a live view and has worked flawlessly. This system is a great buy for those that dont want to be trapped by monthly fees and keep everything local vs the cloud storage. All you need is your own internet to be able to view remotely. Really great security system for the money!

Absolutely the best video surveillance system I have owned. With 8 cameras, I have 4 on each corner of the house monitoring movement and the other 4 are in fixed positions watching my known blind spots. A neighbor/friend walks by every afternoon and laughs because one of my cameras follows him walk by our house! He loves it and buying one. I have about a half acre and my house is in the middle. It picks up movement on my entire property including the motion activated cameras. I highly recommend 👌

Got this system to use in our barn so that we could watch our horses remotely. I have setup a number of CCTV systems, so setup seemed pretty easy to me. I really like that the system shipped with little rubber plugs for all of the ports, so that anything not being used can be kept away from the elements. All of the wire is shipped with the unit. This both a blessing and a curse, as you are stuck with the length that they give you. I had to deal with tangles while I was running the wires, but it eventually got done. I still need to try wiring with my own cables and terminations to see if the results are any better or worse.Camera quality is good. I am still setting some things up and plan to update this as I have some hours under my belt with this system.

I love the PTZ cameras on this surveillance system. The ability to pan and tilt from the phone app is amazing. These are wired cameras and they use an easy to find Ethernet cable, in case you need greater lengths than what comes in the kit. The recorder comes with 1TB of storage that is more than enough to backup days of footage. The image quality is great. It’s colorful and detailed, allowing you to make out faces from a distance. This is an amazing surveillance kit for the cost.

Camera lenses are NOT wide angle 135°. They are around 80° viewing angle. Also, no way these are 4k cameras, but they are pretty sharp recordings compared to my old nightowl dvr setup.Aside from that, easy setup for what it is, all equipment tested and functional upon receipt, but I specifically chose this setup for the 4k and wide angle cameras as advertised. This system is neither.

The cameras are fantastic and easily compare to an Amcrest or Hikvision 4k UHD 8MP camera. They are POE, RTSP capable, and work with other systems like blue iris if you want. EXCELLENT night vision, whether you use starlight color or infared black and white. PTZ works over blue iris as well. The cameras alone are worth far more than 400 bucks, but you get an NVR too for the price, and it looks & feels just like a Lorex or Swann type one. Honestly the NVR doesn't do the cameras justice, so consider hooking them up to blue iris. How are people frustrated that these aren't wireless? Wireless cameras baffle me anyway, because you have to get power from somewhere, and if you want 24/7 recording you can forget about using solar to float charge. These are WIRED cameras and it shows in the incredible quality at night especially. If you don't know how to drill a hole through a wall and run an Ethernet cable through it, this is the wrong product for you. If you are upset that the included cables are not long enough and don't know how to spend 10 minutes making your own custom length Ethernet cable with 15 dollars in parts, then this is not the system for you.If you want high quality cameras in the consumer or small business sector, know how to run a cable, and a free NVR too so to speak, then yes, this is for you.
