Easy to apply with the supplied double sided tape, lays flat and looks good. I prefer the smoke color over the faux chrome. I have the faux chrome on another vehicle and it scratches easily and that degrades from the looks. The smoke might scratch but you cannot see them at all.

I'm very happy with it, follow the instructions and it sticks great. I have had it on the car for about 3 months, I go through the car wash pretty much daily and no issues, looks great and my car is black, covered alot of stone chips wish the previous owner installed it from the start. Very happy with my purchase

Looks good at first, but it wouldn’t fit right. Has 3M 2-sided panel tape… but it seems like one section was contaminated and it doesn’t stick right on that side. Also the AVS emblem came off first car wash.

Beautiful. Easy as hell to install on the hood. Adds such a nice touch to the front of the car.It is NOT a deflector however. Don't let the description fool you. Deflectors are designed to be elevated about an inch above the hood; it is this elevation that causes the 'deflection' of rocks and bugs by altering the wind resistance and air flows to essentially 'aim' the rocks and bugs above the windshield. This 'deflector' though, is not elevated and is instead stuck completely flat onto the front of the hood. So really, the only thing this item does it protect 2 inches of your hood from rocks and bugs .. and look awesome.

This product works very well. I spend a lot of time on the road and pick up a ton of road debris. This product covered all of the dings on the hood of my 2014 Focus SE Sedan and should help prevent further dings. I've used this product on several of my previous vehicles (most recently a 2011 F150) and have experienced 0 failures of the tape. As long as the surface is clean, this product isn't going anywhere.
