This is the fourth product I've gotten from AVS and I'm one happy camper.The first hoodsheild they sent me had half the plastic missing and the shield had scratches. The seller refunded my money and immediately sent me another. 5 stars for customer service.The shield has a nice bright color and seems well made. The fit was perfect.Just like other AVS products, the tape is super strong and the product is super easy to install.Obviously this is not a bug deflector(in the traditional sense) and nobody claimed it was.Like a previous reviewer said, after years out in the sun the color of the hood might change where the visor is not touching. I'm ok with that because I keep my car well waxed and I plan on always having this shield(or maybe another one down the road)I really appreciate the quality of product these folks at AVS produce.Well done!!!

This is a replacement, I had the LUND brand before and was discontinued. Tried this one and it fits great! I like that it's lower to the hood, looks sleek also. I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma Pre-runner.

Arrived quickly by ups to my porch. Made in USA. Six holes lined up perfect with holes under hood. Plastic snap-ins made this an easy installation. Fits and looks great. This ABS plastic is thick and sturdy. No adhesive tape included or needed. I installed one of these on a 1998 RAV4 about 20 years ago with the same results.

Easy install, when the holes line up. Make sure holes line up right when you get the product. I had to get a replacement, custom service was happy to help. Now only 1 hole is off, which seems fixable.After that, my hood wouldn’t close, realized the grill seal was in the way, its held on my pinch tabs, remove grill, get a pair of needle nose and start pinching tabs, reinstall grill. Might need to drop hood for it to close. Worked for me!!

Looks good. Provided plastic pop rivets install easily into factory holes. Perfect.

Got the dang thing on and realized the passenger side grill bend had a 3 inch long, .25" high gap between the grill and deflector. After removing the mounting hardware, I quickly realized the holes had been drilled unevenly FROM THE FACTORY!!!! I drilled out the hole to get the deflector where it should be, but rain has delayed my attempts at wedging something between the factory drilled area and the mounting hardware in the part I drilled... Basically, I am trying to get the mounting screw to hold in the correct part of the newly drilled hole. BOTTOM LINE: great product, freaking terrible job drilling holes on the passenger side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crazy headache........ Going to attempt to contact Lund industries tomorrow. Will update if they help at all. 2 stars only because it would be perfect if the pass side fit like the driver's.Update: I contacted Lund via phone call (800# on the box) and was pleased to reach customer service immediately! And incredibly sweet woman had me email pics of the apparent passenger side hole problem so they can reset the jig on their machine and make me a new one. Incredible A+++!!!! Hurrah for a solid American company! 5 stars for killer customer service
