Fits Volvo: C70, S40, S60, S70, S80, V40, V70, XC70, and XC90 (not for Volvo 3.2L 6-cylinder engine).

Please note: They might be sloppy for 2014 BMW X3 series.
Application Information:
Fit BMW and Volvo vehicles which have a cartridge style oil filter with an 86mm 16 flute oil filter cap. These caps have a smooth top. If your oil filter cap has a bolt through the center or a large nut on top this wrench is NOT compatible with your vehicle. This wrench does not work on vehicles with traditional canister filters that you unscrew and throw away.

This first DIY oil change was painful. The crush washer was different size, the car needs 6 quarts of oil instead of usual 5, and I tried four different oil filter wrenches and none worked except this one.The oil filter is recessed, so only these type of oil filter wrenches work. But because the facets for the wrench to grab on are high up, only a wrench like this one with really tall grip walls can grab the filter housing without slipping. So glad it worked. I went by dimensions to determine this one works with my Volvo, despite Amazon saying it won't.

Fits perfectly fine, so far I've used it on an N20, N54 and N55. Just wish you can put on a quick release extension or ratchet so it locks in place

On my vehicle, there is a canister which contains the filter and needs THIS tool to remove easily and change it and then snug it back on. This tool allows me to change the oil myself and save about 75% of an "express oil" change

Perfect fit for my BMW oil filter housing. Quality metal and great value. Very sturdy and durable. You don't even need a 27mm socket because it also has the attachment point for a standard 3/8" drive.
