I bought a 2001 Ford F250 Super Crew gas and noticed the over-drive button on the shifter didn't work. It is easy to replace and works great. It's been in service for 4 months now.

I tried a different replacement first and tore the steering column apart, hooked it up and it was wired wrong so it did not operate the overdrive. I had to put it all back together to drive it while I waited for this unit to come then repeat everything! This unit works great and looks great!

all you need to replace the overdrive switch & wires easily..............the 2002 Fords have a terrible overdrive wiring problem. Wires were routed near metal edging by steering wheel and so are subject to having wire covering cut through ,shorting out, and causing the light & switch to quit working.Blown fuse does not always happen when wire grounds out...so unblown fuse may make you think it is not the simple and easy to get to cut wire issue that it likely is.

Overdrive switch on end of new lever did not work once installed, but I still had my old lever and switch still worked. Swapped switches and so far so good.
